The top four teams in the Premier League sponsored by Spec & Fix Locking Solutions has been decided, Lincoln Snooker Club A, Newark Con Club, Woodhall Spa Con Club and Lincoln Snooker Club B will battle it out for the title. The remaining four teams, Lincoln Snooker Club C, Lincoln Snooker Club C, Lincoln Snooker Club D, Lincoln Snooker Club E and Moorlands & Railway A will compete for the ‘Lincoln Snooker Club Premier Shield’
Newark Con Club are the new leaders of the Premier League. They followed last week’s excellent win against Lincoln Snooker Club A with a 7-0 win against Lincoln Snooker Club B. Matt Bavin won the opening two frames against Joe Jackson with a break of 40 in the first frame and a 47 in the second frame. Dave Jobling won his three frames defeating Calum Baptist twice and Dave Norman. Rob Hall beat Dave 67-20 and 68-2 with a break of 41 in the second frame.
Lincoln Snooker Club A had a tricky away trip to Woodhall Spa Con Club, and with a repeat of the Lincolnshire County Snooker Final Chris Taylor faced Matt Ransome yet again. But the result went the same way with Matt winning 73-17 and a break of 38. Matt then made it 2-0 when he beat Neil Dowlman 67-27. Neil then played Matt Lee and the frame went to Neil winning on the black 57-52. Matt then played Nigel Salmon and won 64-15 for a lead of 3-1. Gavin Whittle shared his two frames firstly beating Nigel 70-35 and the Chris beat him 60-6. The final frame went to the away side when Jamie Barker defeated Chris 73-44 for an away win.
Moorlands & Railway A won 4-3 away at Lincoln Snooker Club D. Nick Moon just scrapped home with a 66-63 win over Edward Taylor. Home team Captain Stu Cannings levelled the score with a 53-28 victory over Gary Falkinder. Tom Hutchinson restored his sides lead when he beat Edward 54-31. Nick played the fourth frame and came from behind to win by a very close game 60-58 and a 3-1 score line. Gary made it 4-1 when he beat Stu 65-46 and Sean Falkinder lost twice to Justin Hunt.
Lincoln Snooker Club C recorded a 6-1 away win against Stablemates Lincoln Snooker Club E. Chris Robinson and Simon Mower put the C team two up when they both played James Lilley. Stephen Burnett gained the home sides lone point when he defeated Simon 58-24. Damon Sykes defeated Stephen 2-0 and Lee Applewhite beat Paul Argyle 2-0.

Hykeham A leap frog last weeks leaders after a 4-2 away win over Castle Ward B. Dave Coutts shared the opening two frames beating Ken Hill 63-32 and lost out to Matt Strickson 46-59. Kev Cottam put the Kingsley Street based side 2-1 in front when he beat Steve Robinson 69-42. Gary Beardsley and Rob Chapman made it 3-2 to Hykeham with victories over Craig Wallace and Kev Cottam. The final frame went to the away side when Dan May beat Matt 61-41.
Previous weeks leaders Castle Ward C came unstuck against Lincoln Snooker Club F losing 0-6, Mark Handford and George Barratt put the away side 3-0 up. Mark Gibbons made it 4-0 when he beat Graham Smith 50-34. The unbeaten Martin Key lost for the first time when Ben Rickards beat him 50-40 and Ben completed the score when he won a black ball decider 52-47 against Craig Starbuck.
The two Moorlands & Railway sides met and it was the C team that came away with a 4-2 win. The C team raced into a 4-0 when Andy Campbell, Scott Simpson, Ian Baker and Phil Barnett recorded victories. Liam Shasby and Josh Weaver won the two remaining frames against Phil and Andy Riggall for a more respectful score line.
Lincoln Snooker Academy A had an encouraging 4-2 away win over Cub & Triangle, Karl Clayton put the Cube & Triangle one up when he beat Ollie Bagnall 62-16. Daniel Sherman levelled the scores when he just got the better of Gary Chambers 64-52. Oliver Bishell put the Academy side back in front when defeated Glynn Ayris 63-42 with the help of a 26 break. Pete Watson made 2-2 when he beat Daniel 65-40, Oliver Bishell and James Lilley completed the victory when they recorded wins over Karl and Pete.
Castle Ward A recorded to back to back wins to lift them above half way and more importantly a seven point gap over the sixth placed team, Moorlands & Railway B. Castle Ward raced into a 4-0 lead which saw victories for Rob Reeves, Scott Gratrick on the black against Dave Croft, Tim Dunn won a close game 42-34 against Scott Morrison and Aidey Bunn defeated Michael Morrison 56-33. Darren Edwards won the last two matches of the night defeating Scott and Tim 57-29 and 61-40 respectively despite a 26 break from Tim.
The only draw of the night was between Lincoln Snooker Club G and Lincoln Snooker Academy B. James Lilley won a low scoring frame 32-27 against Andy Nicholl. Leigh Blades levelled the scores when he won a black ball game 43-41 against Jarod Bailey. Andy played his second frame of the night when he beat James Sawyer 55-28 to put his side 2-1 up, but Josh Hackney And Jarod hit back when they defeated Tom Boyle and Ray Reid 68-34 and 44-26 respectively. The Final frame went to Mr Blades when he used all his experience to beat Josh 51-20.
