Lincoln Snooker Club A defeated nearest rivals Newark Con Club 5-2, this result has increased their lead at the top of the table to five points. Matt Ransome and Matt Bavin Shared the opening two frames, Matt Ransome with a 46 break in the second frame but lost 58-67. Matt Bavin played his third frame but lost to Matt Lee 52-15. Matt Lee won his second frame 75-9 against Adam Sears. Adam then played Matt Ransome but just lost 54-46 giving the home side a 4-1 lead. Gav Whittle the played Rob Hall and despite a 37 break from Rob it was Gav who took the frame and more importantly a 5-1 score line. Rob and Gav also played the remaining frame 59-5.
Lincoln Snooker Club B also won 5-2 at home, they faced Woodhall Spa Con Club, Neil Dowlman put the away side one up when he defeated 69-32 against Rick Epton. Neil then faced Glenn Foster and the frame went to Glenn 61-39 to level the score 1-1, Glenn returned to the table but this time faced Kieron Richards-Witham and it was Glenn who was the victor winning 63-35. Rick then played his second and third frame of the night firstly he defeated Kieron 64-20 and then with a 39 break he defeated Chris Taylor 67-16. Calum Baptist played the two remaining frames, he lost the first against Chris 88-25 but then defeated Nigel Salmon 61-20 for a 5-2 home win.

Lincoln Snooker Club C and D met which resulted in a narrow 4-3 win to the C team, Simon Mower won the opening two frames with a 55-43 and 69-21 wins over Paul Bean. Phil Cross pulled a frame back when he defeated Lee Applewhite on the black 47-40. Lee then played Stu Cannings and won 62-30. Chris Robinson played his two frames and shared them with Stu Cannings and Justin Hunt, he beat Stu when he came from behind and won on the black 69-65 but lost to Justin 54-40. The final frame saw Home team Captain Lee back at the table but just lost 38-46 to Justin.
Moorlands and Railway A entertained Lincoln Snooker Club E, Sean Falkinder put the Moorlands one up with a good 78-38 win over Steve Burnett. Steve then played Nick Moon and levelled the scores 64-44. The home side then opened up a two frame lead when Paul Froggatt won 45-23 against Mark Taylor and 71-15 against Anthony Liddell with a 35 break. Anthony then played Sean and won a close game 56-47 to reduce the arrears. Nick Moon won a close scoring match with Mark Taylor winning 39-11, Nick then played Anthony but lost 63-35.

The top match in the first division was between the leaders Hykeham A and second placed Lincoln Snooker Club F. George Barrett put the away side one up when he beat Kamikaze Steve Robinson 57-36. Dave Coutts levelled the scores when he defeated Mark Handford 55-26. George was then beaten by Gary Beardsley 41-31 which turned out to be Hykeham’s last point of the night. Mark levelled the scores at 2-2 when he had a comfortable 61-21 win over Dan May. Ben Rickards played very well in the two remaining frames defeating Rob Chapman 69-14 and then beating Gary 68-34. The Snooker Club side have lost just the one match and are three points clear of third placed Castle Ward C.
Castle Ward C were away to Lincoln Snooker Club C and came away with four points to keep the pressure on the other sides that are near them. The away side got off to a good start when Tristan Fussey defeated Andy Nichol 41-25 and then he beat Mr Blades with a similar score line 41-20. Matt Todd played very well to defeat Martin Key on the black winning 51-48. Craig Starbuck played two frames back to back firstly beating Tom Boyle 58-33 and then with a 47-15 victory over Ray Read. Matt Todd then played Martin again and the score line was the same winning 55-43 for an excellent double for Matt.
The two Lincoln Snooker Academy sides met, the B side had only one win next to their name, but this was to change when they won 4-2. Jared Bailey took the opening frame on the black 50-43 against Daniel Shearman. The away side extended their lead when Jack Lowe defeated Oli Bishell and Oli Bagnall defeated Joe Jackson 58-15. Oli Bishell then played Josh Hackney and had a very good 53-20 win. Oli Bagnall played his second frame of the evening and he won 45-23 against Joe. Josh won the final frame 57-1 against Oli May.
Hykeham B are just one point behind Castle Ward C after they recorded a 5-1 away win over Moorlands & Railway B. Michael Morrison with a 29 break took the first frame 73-29 against Trev Porter. Josh Weaver levelled the scores when he came from behind to win on the black 48-47 against Scott Morrison. Dave Croft restored Hykeham’s lead when he beat Nathan Shasby 53-18. Darren Edwards won on the black against John Rice and Michael defeated Liam Shasby 62-21. Darren won his second frame 50-30 against Josh.
Cube & Triangle had a good result against Castle Ward A with the winning points coming from Karl Clayton, Gary and Dan Chambers for the home side and Ron Reeves, and Tim Dunn who won the other two points.
Castle Ward B won 5-1 at home to Moorlands & Railway C, Ken Hill, Matt Strickson and two wins for Kev Cottam put them into a commanding lead, Ian Baker won the away sides only point when he defeated Craig Wallace 44-18, Matt then won his second frame 72-41 against Andy Riggall.
