Lincoln Snooker Club A and Newark Con Club A are still level at the top of the Premier League, Sponsored by Spec & Fix Locking Solutions. One of these teams will be league leaders next week when they play each other at the Lincoln Snooker Club. Both teams this week won 5-2. Lincoln Snooker Club A entertained Lincoln Snooker Club B while Newark Were away at Lincoln Snooker Club C. Woodhall Spa also won 5-2 away at Moorlands and Railway A. the remaining match saw Lincoln Snooker Club E win 4-3 against Lincoln Snooker Club D.

Hykeham Social Club A are still top of the league after a 4-2 away win over Moorlands & Railway C and remain unbeaten so far. Dan May won both of his frames and Dave Coutts and Gary Beardsley were also winners. Steve Robinson lost his first game of the season 19-44 against Andy Riggall. Rob Chapman lost a black ball decider against Phil Barnett.

There are three teams locked on 15 points, Castle Ward C won 4-2 against Hykeham B, Martin Key remains unbeaten after his two frames against Darren Edwards and Michael Morrison. Tristan Fussey and Craig Starbuck the remaining two frames. Michael then defeated Craig 58-15 with the help of a 25 break, team mate Dave Croft beat Tristan 63-41.

Lincoln Snooker Club G are also unbeaten winning two and drawing two, they drew their second match 3-3 against Castle Ward A. Matthew Todd won both his two frames against Scott Gratrick and Tim Dunn and Andy Nichol defeated Adam Petty 56-17. The Wards points were gained from Adrian Bunn who beat Leigh Blades 63-46. Scott beat Andy 63-21 and Rob Reeves beat Tom Boyle 51-28.

Lincoln Snooker Club F are the other unbeaten side, they won 4-2 against Moorlands and Railway B. Ben Rickards for the Lincoln Snooker Club won both of his two frames against Nathan Shasby and Liam Shasby, Ben recorded breaks of 25 and 29 against Liam. George Barrett and Mark Handford with the other two points.

Cube and Triangle won their second match of the season with a 4-2 away win over Lincoln Snooker Academy B. Gary Chambers and Karl Clayton with the winning points, Jack Lowe and Jarod Bailey replied for the Academy side with victories over Pete Watson and Glynn Ayres.

The Lincoln Snooker Academy A side gained their first victory of the season with a  4-2 win over Castle Ward B. Ken Hill put the away side one up when he defeated Oliver Bagnall 45-28. Daniel Shearman levelled the score when he beat Craig Wallace 53-29. It got better for the home team when Oliver May just get the better of opponent Matt Strickson 55-41. Kev Cottam then beat James Lilley 51-34 to square the match. The Academy’s Oliver Bishell and James then took the two remaining frames. Oliver Bishell defeated Kev Cottam 61-36 and James won 46-36.
