It was a good week for the top sides in the Premier League, Sponsored by Spec & Fix Locking Solutions. These four teams are gradually pulling away from the rest of the teams. The biggest scorers were Lincoln Snooker Club B who collected maximum points at home to Moorlands & Railway A.
Dave Norman took the first frame against Nick Moon with the help of a 43 break, Rick Epton made it 2-0 when he beat Paul Froggatt 57-11. Dave won his second frame 60-36 against Joe Hutchinson. The remaining points for home side were gained from Glenn Foster and Callum Baptist.
Newark Con Club won 6-1 at home to Lincoln Snooker Club E, Dave Jobling won the first two frames Against Dan Burt and Mark Taylor 73-36 and 54-5 respectively. Dale Schofield made it 3-0 when he beat Paul Argyle 55-37. Dan made amends when he beat Dale 64-36 for the away sides lone point. Rob Hall then won his three frames he firstly beat Mark 70-32 and his second frame Rob potted everything winning 111-0 against Paul, His final frame was a bit closer winning 57-48 against Dan.
Daren Doughty captain of Lincoln Snooker Club A took the opening frame 72-16 with breaks of 30 and 41 against Damon Sykes. Damon got his own back when he took the second frame 83-64 against Daren. Matt Ransome extended their lead when he won both of his frames, Matt had to come from behind to win on the black 65-63 against Simon Mower, he then defeated Chris Robinson 86-31. Away team Captain Lee Applewhite won his team’s second point of the night winning 60-47 against Jamie Barker. Matt Lee was in good form with the help of a 44 break in his first frame winning 79-9 against Chris and then defeating Lee 102-19.
Woodhall Spa Con Club were away at Lincoln Snooker Club D and came away with five points. Stu Cannings put the home side one up with a very good victory over Nigel Salmon. Keiran Richards-Witham levelled the score when he won a close encounter against Edward Taylor 45-35. Nigel returned back to the table for the next two frames which he won 58-41 and 62-48 against Adam Hanson and Edward. Justin Hunt won his teams other point with a 68-24 win over Keiran, Away team Captain Chris Taylor took the remaining two frames 67-18 against Stu and 54-12 against Justin.

Castle Ward C are the new leaders of the 1st Division, Sponsored by Adam Sears Snooker Coaching Academy. They beat previous leaders Hykeham A 5-1, Tristan Fussey shared the opening two frames, Tristan won his first frame 64-40 against Steve Robinson, Tristan second frame saw Dave Coutts get the better of Tristan winning 55-36 which was the home sides only point of the night. The unbeaten Martin Key looked as if he could lose his first frame of the season but a 30 clearance saw him beat Rob Chapman 48-39. Martin then beat Gary Beardsley 66-27 to maintain his unbeaten run. Craig Starbuck then defeated Dan May 57-19 and then a 56-7 victory over Rob. This defeat sees Hykeham slip down to third place.
Lincoln Snooker Club F are still unbeaten after nine matches, their latest result was a 4-2 away win over the Lincoln Snooker Academy B side. The Academy side took two of the first three frames which saw wins for James Sawyer and Adie Lowe against Mark Handford and Toby Andrews, sandwiched in between was a 41-3 for Mark Gibbons against Jazz. Ben Rickards won both of his matches against Jack Lowe and Josh Hackney. The final frame saw Mark Gibbons defeat Joe Jackson 57-23.
Hykeham B drew 3-3 with Lincoln Snooker Academy A, Dave Croft took the opening frame 57-13 against Oli May. Michael Morrison was beaten by Oli Bishell despite compiling a break of 26, but Michael got his own back when he took the 6th frame 79-8. James Lilley defeated Scott Morrison 57-26 and Daniel Sherman came from behind to win a black ball decider 56-52. Chris Ellis gained Hykeham’s other point when he just got the better of Oli Bagnall.
The Castle Ward A side had a good 5-1 away win over Moorlands & Railway C, Adrian Bunn was in good form and with the Leagues high break of 46 beating Andy Campbell 73-12. Rob Reeves and Scott Gratrick made it 3-0 with victories over Andy Campbell and Phil Barnett, Scott with a break of 25 in 72-33 score line. Phil then beat Adam Petty on the black 54-49 for the home sides only point. Adrian won his second frame 46-26 against Davis Hayes. Scott completed the win 63-36 against Andy Riggall.
Cube & Triangle lost 4-2 against Lincoln Snooker Club G. They lost the first three frames Andy Nichol, Leigh Blades and Ray Read winning comfortably. Cube and Triangles points came from Gary Chambers when he beat Matt Todd 51-39 but Matt reversed the score winning 58-47. Karl Clayton was the other point scorer for the Cube & Triangle with a 74-36 victory over Tom Boyle.
Moorlands & Railway B entertained Castle Ward B and with only a couple of points between them, it remained that way at the end of the night after a 3-3 draw. Nathan Shasby won his two frames and John Rice with the other point for the Moorlands team, Ken Hill won his two frames and Kev Cottam defeated Liam Shasby 56-33 for the Castle Wards points.

Hykeham B drew 1-1 with Moorlands and Railway A, Ian Cotter putting the away side one up with the help of a 41break defeating Steve Robinson 200-184. Dave Coutts then beat Martin Nesbitt 200-142.
Hykeham A took both points on offer against Newark Con Club, Anna Hall making her debut in the LDBSA at Billiards lost to Tristan Fussey despite a break of 36 and Husband Rob losing out to Fraser Proctor 166-200 with breaks of 61,44 and 43.
