Newark Con Club are still the leaders in the Spec & Fix Premier Snooker league after a 5-2 away win over Lincoln Snooker Club B which saw victories for Rob Hall who both of his frames as did Dale Schofield and one win for Adam Sears who won the other frame. Hugo Tomas and Rick Epton for the losers. Lincoln Snooker Club C recorded their second win of the season at the expense of their D team. Mark Handford put the D team one up when he defeated Adam Hanson 60-24. Simon Mower made it 2-0 when he beat James Lilley 56-20 George Barrett extended his teams lead to 3-0 playing very well to defeat Gary Faulkner 59-13. The Lincoln Snooker Club C team hit back which saw Justin Hunt and Lee Applewhite winning bot of their games to compete an excellent fightback. Lincoln Snooker Club A faced a tricky away trip to Woodhall Spa and came away with a narrow 4-3 win. Matt Ransome and Dan Burt shared the opening two frames Jamie Barker made it 2-1 to the away side when he beat Neil Dowlman 60-16. Gavin Whittle extended the Snooker Clubs side firstly defeating Neil 66-23 with a 44 break and then beating Jamie Turner 57-46 for a 4-1 lead. Jamie Turner for the Woodhall Spa side won both of his frames against Matt Lee 75-20 and 72-1 with a break of 55.
Lincoln Security Snooker League 1 Hykeham B have closed the gap on the teams above them after a 5-1 home win over basement side Castle Ward B. Michael Morrison started the ball rolling when he defeated Ken Hill 58-29. This was followed by an inform Tristan Fussey who defeated Craig Wallace 65-3. Chris Ellis made it 3-0 to the home side when he rolled back the years and won 67-42. Darren Edwards made it 4-0 when he beat Matt Strickson 50-12. John McGovern pulled one frame back when he won a black ball games 56-50 against Michael. The final frames saw Chris beat John 55-38 to complete the victory. The Hykeham A side were away to Lincoln Snooker Club E and had to share the spoils with a 3-3 draw. Stephen Burnett took the opening frame 51-30 against Steve Robinson, but the Hykeham side hit back and took the next three frames which saw victories for Dave Coutts, Gary Beardsley and Rob Chapman. Andy Gill won the remaining two frames for the home side firstly beating Dan May 53-22 and followed that up with a 44-23 win over Rob. The league leaders, Lincoln Snooker Club F side also had to settle for a 3-3 draw. They were away to Castle Ward A, Rob Reeves played two frames and won them both and Adam Petty was the other winner for Castle Ward. The Snooker Clubs points came from Edward Taylor, Matt Todd and Nick McCauley.
George Barrett Snooker League 2 Lincoln Snooker Academy are the new leaders of the George Barrett Snooker League 2 after they won 5-1 away against Lincoln Snooker Club G. Jacob Louca started the ball rolling with a comfortable win over Oli Schmidt. Daniel Sherman made it 2-0 when he defeated Jazz Bailey 44-14. Jayden Hunt is having a good season so far and he continued with his excellent start putting his side three up when he beat Oli 51-12. Jazz returned to the table and earned his sides only point defeating Oli May in the process 64-45. Oli Bishell extended his sides lead to 4-1 when he defeated Mark Gibbons 40-12 which was followed by a victory for Brandon Staples who beat Mark 52-30. Moorlands & Railway A were held to a 3-3 draw by Lincoln Snooker Club H. Jim Byrne played well and put the Moorlands side one up when he recorded a 62-39 win over Trev Porter. John Rice levelled the scores at one each when he defeated Leigh Blades 56-31 only to see Tom Boyle defeat Nathan Shasby 50-39 to put the Snooker Club side back in front. Back came the Moorlands & Railway side with two victories in a row, firstly Liam Shasby beat Tom Cutten 81-7 and then John Rice made it two wins from two on the night when he defeated George Lorenti 41-17. Jim finished the night off when he returned back to the table and he also made it two from two playing well to defeat Liam 54-33. Moorlands & Railway B won 5-1 at home to Cube & Triangle, the Moorlands side raced into a four-nil lead, Kev Betts started the night off when he defeated Glynn Ayris 63-20. Duncan MacDonald was up next, he also played well defeating Karl Clayton 61-28 which was followed up with wins for Phil Barnett and Andy Campbell defeating Dan Chambers and Marley Clayton. The Cubes lone point came when Karl beat 50-27. The final frame was close and could of gone either way but it was Duncan who won the black ball game defeating Dan 49-40. Lincoln Academy are on 35 points, Moorlands & Railway A on 33 points, Moorlands & Railway B, Lincoln Snooker Club H and Lincoln Snooker Club G all on 20 points and the Cube & Triangle on 16 points.
