Spec & Fix Snooker Premier League Just Two points separate the top three teams in Spec & Fix Premier Snooker League all three teams recording a victory. New-ark Con Club were away to Lincoln Snooker Club D, Simon Mower for the Lincoln Snooker Club side put his side two up playing very well in both frames. Simon won the first frame 69-16 against Matt Bavin in the second frame he played George Barratt and won 51-42. Dale Schofield played three successive frames and won all three. Dale faced Simon in his first frame which Dale won 60-11. In the fourth frame Dale played Ben Rickards and won 79-30 to level the match score at 2-2. Dale put his side in front for the first when he defeated George 61-8. The two remaining frames were played by Ben Rickards for the home side and Rob Hall for the Newark side. Rob won them both convincingly with a break of 56 in the first frame winning 92-5 and 76-6 in the second frame for a 5-2 victory. Woodhall Spa were at home to Lincoln Snooker Club C with the lead exchanging frame by frame, Justin Hunt put the Lincoln Snooker Club side one up when he just got the better of Dan Burt 60-50, the second frame played by the same to players went to Dan this time winning 68-44. The Snooker club side went back in front when Stu Cannings defeated Neil Dowlman 71-14, Neil played in the fourth frame and with a break of 38 he beat Lee Applewhite 71-33. Neil and Lee played the fifth frame and this time the frame went to Lee which he won 61-44. Jamie Turner who has been performing well all season and was soon continuing that form with an excellent break of 91, just one point better than the previous high break of 90 which was held by Gavin Whittle. Jamie played Gary Falkinder in that frame winning 101-5. The final frame saw Jamie defeat James Lilley 58-28 with a break of 37 and a 4-3 win for Woodhall Spa. Lincoln Snooker Club A faced their B side, Rick Epton put the B team one up when he defeated Daren Doughty 59-45. Matt Ransome also played Rick and he levelled the score at 1-1 when Matt won 66-30. In Matt’s Second frame he won with a similar score-line, this time against Calum Baptist taking the frame 66-23. Gav Whittle extended the A teams lead to 3-1 when he just got the better of Calum winning 57-49. Glenn Foster for the B side made it 3-2 when he defeated Matt Lee 81-9, but Matt came back to defeat Glenn 109-2 and a 4-2 score-line. The final frame was also played by Glenn and he won that frame 52-37 against Jamie Barker this gave the leaders a 4-3 win and remain in top spot.
Lincoln Security Snooker League 1 It was a good week for the top two teams in the Lincoln Security Snooker league 1, Lincoln Snooker Club E whitewashed their opponents basement side Castle Ward B. Mark Taylor, Anthony Liddell and Andy Gill shared the six frames between them, Anthony with a break of 34 in his 59-53 win against Jack McGovern. The Lincoln Snooker Club F side were away to Hykeham B, Paul Bean put the Lincoln side one up when he defeated Darren Edwards 54-31. Michael Morrison levelled the scores with 46-13 victory over Brian Lawson. Jimmy Durance restored the away sides lead when he beat Chris Ellis 62-28. Matt Todd made it 3-1 with a 56-33 victory over Dave Croft. In the fifth frame Paul Bean equalled his own high break of 41 when he played and beat Michael 70-7. The final frame of the night saw Jimmy defeat Darren 71-42 and a 5-1 victory for Lincoln Snooker Club F. Castle Ward A faced a tricky home fixture against Hykeham A, Rob Reeves put Castle Ward one up when he won a black ball frame against Steve Robinson 56-51. Adrian Bunn made it two nil with a 44-32 win over Dave Coutts. Hykeham came back strongly with Rob Chapman defeating Tim Dunn 58-2 and Gary Beardsley defeated Adam Petty 57-26 to square then match at 2-2. Scott Gratrick played out the final two frames for the Castle Ward side, he won his first frame 59-16 against Dan May and Scott won the final frame of the night defeating Rob 54-40
George Barrett Snooker League 2 League leaders of the George Barrett Snooker League 2 were another side to collect maximum points this week, they faced Lincoln Snooker Club H. Jacob Louca started the ball rolling defeating Tom Cutten 73-49. Daniel Shearman made it 2-0 de-feating Jim Byrne 52-20 which was followed by a 43-32 for Brandon Staples against Tom Boyle. Oli Bishell just got the better of Ray Reid winning 56-42 Unbeaten Jayden Hunt continued his excellent form and recorded another convincing result defeating Leigh Blades 59-6. The final frame saw a return to the table for Oli and he faced Dave Poucher and won 71-23 and the Acade-my side have increased their lead at the top by four points. The Academy side and nearest rivals Moorlands & Railway A side are the only two teams that remain unbeaten. Moor-lands & Railway A were away to Cube & Triangle and they soon raced into a two-nil lead, Josh Weaver defeated Dan Cham-bers 58-15 and Nathan Shasby won 61-34 against Marley Clayton. The home sides Gary Chambers earned his sides first point of the night when he defeated Trev Porter 51-24. Liam and Nathan Shasby made sure of a victory for the Moorlands side, Liam defeated Karl Clayton 69-16 and Nathan won 79-11 against Glynn Ayris. The final frame saw Gary defeat Josh 62-24. The Moorlands & Railway B side faced Lincoln Snooker Club G and there was just one point between them before this fixture. Kev Betts put the home side one up when he won a black ball decider 50-42 against Ollie Schmidt. Duncan MacDonald made it two-nil when he also won a black ball frame 48-42 against Jazz Bailey. Mark Gibbons pulled a frame back for the Snooker Club side when he defeated Andy Campbell 47-35. Scott Simpson restored the two-frame lead when he beat Joe Jackson 61-29. Mark returned to the table for the away side and faced Andy Riggall this time but the result was still the same as his first frame winning 43-31. The final frame of the evening was the same as fourth frame, Scott and Joe, and the result was the same with Scott Winning 58-22 and a 4-2 win for the Moorlands & Railway side.

It’s a welcome return for Rob Hall and his side, his side, Lincoln Snooker Club A were away to Hykeham B. Rob faced good friend Chris Ellis, it was a close game but it was Rob who put his sides first point of the season winning 200-191 with breaks 47 and a brilliant break of 185. It was also good to see Rob’s wife playing, Anna is a very good player and know one should take her lightly, Anna is an accomplished player. Tristan Fussey was her opponent and was made to fight hard to get to the finishing line winning 200-171. Castle Ward A were at home to Hykeham A and the home teams Dean Manders was in good form compiling breaks of 35,51 and 54 in his 200-179 victory over Dan May. The second match up was between Nick Haywood and Dave Coutts. Dave was receiving a ninety-point start and he needed it with Nick reducing the deficit with a break of 42. But Dave held out to win 200-193.
