The top three teams in the Spec & Fix Premier League are pulling further and further away from the other three teams, there is now a gap of 29 points between the third placed team and the fourth placed team. Woodhall Spa Con Club had a comfortable 6-1 away win against Lincoln Snooker Club C despite losing the opening frame when Stu Cannings defeated Dan Burt 64-15.Neil Dowlman levelled the scores with a 67-29 victory over Justin Hunt. Dan played his second frame against Phil Cross and won 48-17. Jamie Turner made it 3-1 with a 75-16 win against Lee Applewhite. Neil also played two frames, in his second frame he faced Gary Falkinder but and was untroubled winning 67-7. in the sixth frame Jamie and Lee met for the second time on the night but the result went the same way with Jamie compiling a break of 47 in his 68-15 win. The Final frame of the night was between the same two players who started the match off Stu and Dan, but this time Dan was the victor winning 68-7 to complete the win. Newark Con Club also recorded a 6-1 win when they entertained Lincoln Snooker Club D. Matt Bavin opened the scoring winning the first two frames. In the first frame Matt defeated Simon Mower 84-15 and followed that up with a 65-19 win over George Barrett. Nick Haywood made a welcome return to the LDBSA, but was unable to record a victory when Ben Rickards beat him 56-23 with a 36 break. Dave Jobling extended Newark’s lead firstly beating Chris Robinson 66-17 and a 64-14 win over George. Rob Hall played out the two remaining frames, firstly beating Ben 57-40 and the final frame he defeated Chris 77-9 with the aid of a 36 break. League leaders Lincoln Snooker Club A won 5-2 at home to stable mates Lincoln Snooker Club B. Daren Doughty played the first two frames both against Lee Mason, Daren won the first 64-20 and the second frame 64-42. Matt Ransome for the A team faced Rick Epton in the next two frames but both frames went to Rick 67-40 and 64-24. Matt Lee played Calum Baptist in the fifth and sixth frames with two breaks of 40 in his first frame Matt won 97-21 and Matt took the second frame 55-37. the final frame of the evening saw Jamie Barker defeat Rick Epton 60-28 to complete the victory.

Bottom side in the Lincoln Security Snooker League 1, Castle Ward B recorded their third win of the season against second placed Lincoln Snooker Club E. Ken Hill started the ball rolling with a 46-25 victory over Steve Burnett. Steve hit back and with a break of 35 he recorded a comfortable 112-8 win against Craig Wallace. Anthony Liddell made it 2-1 to the second placed team and with a break of 26 he beat Kev Cottam 65-41. Jack McGovern played well and with the high break of 42 he defeated Anthony 66-40. Ken Hill made it 3-2 to the home side when he defeated Andy Gill 47-27. Jack returned to the table and with the confidence from his earlier frame he defeated Andy 65-13. The league table is getting tighter with three teams all on fifty points and Hykeham A lead those three teams after a 5-1 home win over Castle Ward A. Steve Robinson put Hykeham one up when he just got the better of Rob Reeves winning 58-47. Rob Chapman then made it 2-0 defeating Tim Dunn 56-43. Adam Petty put Castle Wards only point on board with a 57-36 victory over Dan May. Gary Beardsley made it 3-1 with a 60-31 win over Scott Gratrick. Dave Coutts made it 4-1 defeating Adrian Bunn 44-9 and Dan made amends for his earlier defeat when he got his own back when he beat Adam 48-39. League leaders Lincoln Snooker Club F were held to a 3-3 draw against Hykeham B. Darren Edwards inflicted the first defeat of the season on Wayne Bean 55-39 in the first frame of the evening. James Durance levelled the scores with the help of a 25 break beating Dave Croft 50-27. Chris Ellis then put Hykeham 2-1 up when he defeated Nick McCauley 52-38. Wayne played his second frame of the evening and with a break of 39 winning 66-3 against Darren. Matt Todd played out the last two frames he defeated Dave Croft 57-21 in his first frame but just fell short in the final frame when Chris beat him 51-37 for a well earned draw for Hykeham.

League Leaders and still unbeaten, Lincoln Snooker Academy were held to a 3-3 draw with Lincoln Snooker Club H and were made hard to fight for the points. George Lorenti put the Snooker Club H side one up when he defeated Jacob Louca 48-28. Brandon Staples levelled the scores 56-35 when he beat Dave Poucher. James Byrne restored the lead for the away side when he just got the better of Daniel Sherman 52-44. The impressive Jayden Hunt levelled the scores with a 80-35 victory over Tom Boyle only to see the away side go back in front when Ray Reid beat Daniel 49-16. The leaders were looking like losing their first game of the season but Jayden dug deep and he just got the better of his opponent James winning on the black 40-35. Moorlands & Railway B who themselves have only lost one match were held to a 3-3 away draw against Lincoln Snooker Club G. Andy Campbell put the Moorlands one up when he defeated Oli Schmidt 53-37. The home side hit back and took the next two frames through Josh Hackney and Jared Bailey, Josh defeated Andy Campbell 52-34 while Jared defeated Phil Barnett 68-40.Scott Simpson played two successive frames for the Moorlands firstly defeating Michael Stacey 58-18 and then in his second frame Scott compiled a brilliant break of 48 in his 62-12 win over Josh. The final frame of the evening saw Jared defeat Andy Riggall 65-33 to earn a share of the spoils. The Cube & Triangle are firmly entrenched at the bottom of the league and are eleven points adrift of Lincoln Snooker Club H. The Cube & Triangle faced an away trip to Moorlands & Railway A and have now lost seven in a row, their latest was a 5-1 defeat. Josh Weaver put the Moorlands side one up with a comfortable 59-11 win over Glynn Ayris. Nathan Shasby made it 2-0 when he defeated Marley Clayton 58-23. Trev Porter extended the home sides lead when he had a comfortable 61-7 victory over Karl Clayton. Gary Chambers put the away sides only point on the board defeating John Rice 61-8. Liam Shasby made it 4-1 with a 49-9 win over Marley and Josh completed the victory when he beat Gary 67-47.
