Woodhall Spa are in joint second place with Newark Con Club, both teams have identical records. Woodhall Spa were at home to Lincoln Snooker Club D, Neil Dowlman opened the scoring and with a break of 50 he took the frame 66-26 against Mark Handford. Neil then played Chris Robinson, Neil recorded another break, 35 and Chris responded with a break of 39 and won 68-58. Chris played another two frames, both against Dan Burt and it was the latter who took them both 72-43 and 62-23 and a 3-1 lead for Woodhall Spa. Jamie Turner was in brilliant form for Woodhall Spa when he made it 4-1 with two breaks, 30 followed by a 45 winning 75-0 against Ben Rickards. Jamie continued his good form and, with a break of 38 took the sixth frame 62-46 also against Ben. Dan made it three wins from three on the night when he defeated Mark 60-14. Lincoln Snooker Club A faced a tricky home tie against Newark Con Club, Jamie Barker took the first frame of the evening when he beat Matt Bavin 56-40. Matt Ransome played the second and third frames both against Adam Sears, Matt won then both 52-8 and 61-14 for a 3-0 lead for the home side. Rob Hall pulled a frame back for Newark when he defeated Daren Doughty 87-22. Gav Whittle made sure of a home victory when he defeated Rob 73-1. The final two frames saw Dale Schofield for Newark defeated Matt Lee 65-42 and 65-22 and a more respectable score line. Lincoln Snooker Club C and Lincoln Snooker Club B met in the remaining Spec & Fix Premier Snooker League and it resulted in a 4-3 win for the B side. Justin Hunt put the C team one up when he beat Glenn Foster 64-14. Glenn made amends in his second frame when he defeated Gary Falkinder 68-0. Calum Baptist played three consecutive frames for the B team, Calum lost his first two frames. Stu Canning beat him 53-43 and Lee Applewhite defeated him 50-36. Calum and Lee played each other again and this time Calum won 78-13. Hugo Tomas made it 3-3 when he just got the better of Justin 69-57. The final frame of the evening saw Hugo defeat Phil Cross 51-11 to complete the victory.

Lincoln Snooker Club F completed their third whitewash of the season when they beat Castle Ward B 6-0, and have now opened up a thirteen point lead. Ed Taylor, Brian Lawson, Nick McCauley James Durrance and Wayne Bean who won his two frames. Castle Ward B are twenty five points adrift at the bottom of this league, which is kindly sponsored by Lincoln Security. Second placed Lincoln Snooker Club E were held to a 3-3 away draw with Castle Ward A. Adrian Bunn opened the scoring defeating Mark Taylor 76-49 with the help of a 30 break. In the second frame it was Mark’s turn to compile a useful 32 break against Rob Reeves winning 65-33. Andy Gill made it 3-1 firstly defeating Tim Dunn 57-9 and a 74-55 victory over Adam Petty. Adrian made it 2-3 when he continued his good form when he defeated Anthony Liddell 60-17. The final frame saw Tim win a black ball frame 47-43 against Anthony to earn a share of the spoils. Hykeham A and Hykeham B played out the remaining fixture which the A team won 4-2. Rob Chapman and Tristan Fussey played the opening two frames, Tristan took the first winning a black ball frame 63-56. Rob faired better in the second frame when he defeated Tristan 59-19. Steve Robinson put the A side in front for the first time on the night when he defeated Dave Croft 58-40. Chris Ellis made it 2-2 when he played very well beating Gary Beardsley 57-14. Dan May put the A side back in front when he beat Dave 57-32. The final frame saw Steve win his second frame on the night when he defeated Chris 49-32. Hykeham A are on 64 points just six points behind second placed Lincoln Snooker Club E. Castle Ward A and Hykeham B a further two points behind on 62.

Yet another excellent win for the runaway leaders of the George Barrett Snooker League after their second whitewash of the season against Cube & Triangle and their third of the season. After two successive defeats Jacob Louca returned back to winning ways when he defeated Marley Clayton 60-37. Daniel Sherman made it 2-0 with a 59-30 win over Karl Clayton. Brandon Staples won both of his frames, firstly defeating Jack Belton on the black 52-45 and Glynn Ayris 57-42. in between those two wins for Brandon saw another win for Jayden Hunt who defeated Dan Chambers 52-25 and in the final frame he won a black ball frame 55-54 against Gary Chambers. Four of the five players from the Academy side occupy the top four places in the averages league a testament to the coaching team at Lincoln Snooker Club, who are immensely proud of the youngsters progress. The two Moorlands side met and with the A team occupying second place and are well clear of their B team, they have extended their lead to 17points after the won 4-2. Josh Weaver opened the scoring for the A side defeating Andy Campbell 45-29. The experienced Trev Porter made it two nil despite a break of 25 from his opponent Scott Simpson winning 60-33. Duncan McDonald put his sides first point on the board when he played very well to defeat Nathan Shasby 77-45. Phil Barnett levelled the scores in a low scoring frame defeating John Rice on the black 33-32. The A side went back in front and won the last two frames, which was one sided, Liam Shasby defeated Duncan 60-3 and Josh beat Andy Riggall 68-4 to complete a 4-2 win. Lincoln Snooker Club G and H met in the remaining fixture, the winners points were gained by Tom Boyle, Ray Reid, George Lorenti and two wins for Leigh Blades, with Jazz Bailey replying for the G team.

League leaders Lincoln Snooker Club A lost their first match of the season when they were beaten 2-0 by stablemates Lincoln Snooker Club B. Leigh Blades started the ball rolling and with his opponent conceding a 890 point start it didn’t take long for Leigh to score the required points for victory. After last weeks first win for Jayden Hunt he followed this up with a 200-172 win over Anna, for their first win of the season. Castle Ward move into second place after a 2-0 home win over Hykeham B Nick Haywood played well and with a break of 37 he defeated Tristan 200-57. Dean Manders and Chris Ellis played the remaining match and it was a close match with Dean compiling breaks of 41 and 50 he won by just two points 200-198.
