There’s no change in the Spec & Fix Premier League with the top three teams all winning 5-2. Lincoln Snooker Club B entertained their A team and went one up when Glenn Foster defeated Jamie Barker 52-24. Glenn then faced two frames against Matt Ransome which Matt took them both winning the first 71-57 and the second frame 60-50. Matt Lee made it 3-1 when he faced young Jayden Hunt winning 68-27. Jayden usually plays in the 2nd division where he has lost only one frame from his 29 frames played, and he continued that good form with an excellent 66-28 win over Gavin Whittle. Gavin then played Calum Baptist and won that frame 62-45. The final frame of the evening saw Daren Doughty defeat Calum 72-22. Newark Con Club faced Lincoln Snooker Club D, George Barrett put Lincoln Snooker Club one up when he defeated Matt Bavin 46-32. the same two players played the second frame and this time Matt faired better beating George 56-35. Adam Sears played the next two frames both against Ben Rickards, Adam took their first frame 57-36 and in their second frame Ben with a break of 48 defeated Adam 73-27. Rob Hall Made it 3-2 defeating George 73-21 and Rob compiling a break of 59. Unfortunately the Lincoln Snooker Club side were two players short and had to concede the two points. Woodhall Spa were at home to Lincoln Snooker Club C, James Lilley put the snooker club side one up when he just got over the winning line 55-45 against Neil Dowlman. Neil soon levelled the scores and with a break of 33 he defeated Stu Cannings 65-21. Stu then defeated Dan Birt 67-8 with the help of a 32 break. Lee Applewhite played three successive frames for the Lincoln Snooker Club but found his opponents in good form. Dan played two frames against Lee, in their first frame Dan recorded a break of 52 in his 64-19 victory and followed that up in the next frame with a break of 44 in his 62-22 win Lee’s final frame saw Jamie Turner compile a break of 41 and won the frame 71-6. In the final frame Jamie defeated James 73-35 and a break of 33 for Jamie.

League Leaders of the Lincoln Security Snooker league, Lincoln Snooker Club F were away to Hykeham B, Paul Bean was in sparkling form for the league leaders winning the first frme 83-1 with breaks of 37 and 31. Wayne Bean made it 2-0 when he defeated Michael Morrison 69-25. After three week’s away from the game Matt Todd made it 3-0 when he defeated Tristan Fussey 51-20. James Durrance with six wins from his previous seven frames continued his good form when he defeated Dave Croft 55-35. Michael put the home teams first point on the board winning 71-24 against Nick McCauley aided with a 34 break. The final frame saw Paul play Tristan and he continued his good form winning 59-7 and a break of 27. Second placed Lincoln Snooker Club E collected Maximum points when they entertained Castle Ward B. Mark Taylor played the first two frames, firstly defeating Ken Hill 54-9 followed by a 49-40 win over Kev Cottam. Steve Burnett soon made it 4-0 with a 43-19 victory over Matt Strickson and a 68-26 win over Jack McGovern. Anthony Liddell completed the whitewash firstly defeating Kev 75-3 with a break of 30 and a 48-33 win against Matt. Hykeham A are pulling away from the bottom three sides and are only seven points behind the second placed team. Steve Robinson opened the scoring with a 52-34 win over Tim Dunn. Dave Coutts made it 2-0 with a 66-4 win against Rob Reeves. Matt May made a rare appearance playing only his second frame of the season and he didn’t disappoint his team mates defeating Rob 90-1 with a 30 break. Gary Beardsley made it 4-0 when he came from behind to defeat Tim on the black 53-52. Adam Petty has improved a lot throughout the season and this showed in the final two frames, although he lost his first frame 62-72 against Dan May he played very well and was unlucky to lose. Adam faired better in the final frame when he beat Matt May 45-30.

Lincoln Snooker Club G were away at The Moorlands & Railway B side and they soon found themselves 3-0 down which saw victories for Scott Simpson, Duncan MacDonald and Andy Campbell. Michael Stacey made it 3-1 when he beat Kev Betts 45-36. This was followed by a win for Josh Hackney when he defeated Phil Barnett 59-39. The comeback was completed when Jazz Bailey defeated Andy Riggall 53-27 to earn a share of the spoils. Lincoln Snooker Club G move into fourth place by just one point over their H team. League leaders Lincoln Snooker Academy are well clear at the top and they continued their unbeaten run when they beat Lincoln Snooker Club H 5-1. Brandon Staples opened the scoring when he defeated Leigh Blades 61-31. Jayden Hunt good form continued when he made it two nil when he defeated Tom Cullen 56-29. George Lorenti was the lone winner for the home side when he won a black ball frame 64-58 against Oli Bishell, Brandon won his second frame of the night when he defeated Dave Poucher 43-31, Jayden also won his second frame of the evening winning his 28th frame from 29 frames when he defeated James Byrne 75-19.Oli made amends for his earlier defeat when he beat Tom Cullen 59-31 for another excellent performance from this young side. Moorlands & Railway A were away to Cube & Triangle and came away with four points, there were wins for Trev Porter, Josh Weaver, John Rice and a black ball decider for Nahan Shasby against Dan Chambers. Karl Clayton and Jack Belton for the Cube & Triangle.

Dean Manders was in brilliant form on Wednesday night for the Castle Ward side when they were at home to Lincoln Snooker Club B, compiling breaks of 90,59 and 44 his his 200-152 victory over Leigh Blades, Unfortunately the Lincoln Snooker Club side was not able to get a second player and the point ws awarded to Castle Ward. With Lincoln Snooker Club having a bye Castle Ward are the new leaders by just one point. The two Hykeham sides met in the other fixture which resulted in a 2-0 win for the B team. Fra-ser Proctor won the opening frame 200-0 against Dave Coutts and Tristan Fussey completed the victory when he just got the better of Da May winning 200-190, Hykeham B move onto level points with Lincoln Snooker Club A.
