Lincoln Snooker Club A faced a tricky home fixture against Woodhall Spa Con Club. Neil Dowlman put the away side one up when he defeated Daren Doughty 69-38. Matt Ransome levelled the scores when he beat Dan Burt 73-42 despite a recorded break of 36 from Dan. Woodhall Spa went back in front when Jamie Turner played very well in beating Matt Ransome 84-0. Gavin Whittle made it 2-2 with a comfortable 67-18 win over Neil. Matt Lee made it 3-2 when he won a black ball frame 60-56 against Dan, Matt then compiled a brilliant break of 102 against Jamie Turner who scored just five points. The final frame sae Neil get the better of Jamie Barker winning 56-44. Nearest Rivals to Lincoln Snooker Club A, Newark Con Club also won 4-3 at home to Lincoln Snooker Club B. Rick Epton put the Snooker Club side one up when he defeated Adam Sears 50-39. Dave Jobling played two successive frames to put Newark 2-1in front, in his first frame he defeated Rick 56-10 and then with a break of 44 he beat Calum Baptist 77-6. Calum returned to the table and played well in his second frame defeating Dale Schofield 78-10. Dale faired a bit better in his second frame but it was his opponent Hugo Tomas who took the frame 58-47 and a 3-2 lead for the Lincoln Snooker Club side. Rob Hall was in good form in the remaining two frames, in his first frame against Hugo Rob won 84-33 with a break of 39 and a well constructed break of 56 in the final frame winning 68-3. The two teams propping the rest up, met and it was Lincoln Snooker Club C who took the honours when they defeated their D team 5-2. Phil Cross recorded a much needed win, Phil defeated Simon Mower 65-32 and then Phil defeated Mark Handford 49-32 these two wins will give Phil a lot of confidence. Chris Robinson put the D teams first point on the board when he won a black ball frame against Stu Cannings and with the help of a 38 break Chris won 59-57. Stu restored the two frame lead when he defeated Damon Sykes 59-30. Damon then played James Lilley and made it 3-2 with a 66-20 win. James made it 4-2 when he just got the better of Ben Rickards 68-59. Lee Applewhite made it 5-2 to the C team when he also beat Ben defeating him 62-40. This win for the Lincoln Snooker Club C means they exchange places with the Lincoln Snooker Club D side.

Hykeham A faced second placed Lincoln Snooker Club E and earned a share of the spoils drawing 3-3. Rob Chapman and Steve Burnett shared the opening two frames, Rob took the first 75-23 and then Steve defeated Rob 43-31. Gary Beardsley put the home side 2-1 up when he defeated Anthony Liddell 52-29. Anthony then faced Steve Robinson and with a break of 28 he made it 2-2 with a 57-43 victory. Dan May and Andy Gill played the last two frames and Dan won the first of those two frames winning a black ball frame 50-44, the final frame saw Andy play a lot better and won that comfortably 56-9 for the draw. Hykeham B are in fourth place after a 4-2 away win over Castle Ward B. Ken Hill put Castle Ward one up when he defeated Darren Edwards 43-27. Hykeham hit back and took the next three frames, Dave Croft defeated Craig Wallace 44-17 which was followed by two wins for Tristan Fussey he firstly defeated Matt Strickson 62-16 followed by a 53-22 win over Kev Cottam. Jack McGovern pulled a frame back when he got the better of Darren winning 57-29. The final frame saw Dave win a close frame when he defeated Ken 51-43. League Leaders Lincoln Snooker Club F were held to a 3-3 draw with Castle Ward. The league leaders soon went 2-0 up, James Durrance with a 33 break beat Rob Reeves 72-4 which was followed by a 62-32 win for Matt Todd against Tim Dunn. Castle Ward hit back and took the next three frames, Adam Petty defeated Brian Lawson 52-16 and then Adrian Bunn won two successive frames firstly defeating Nick McCauley 52-28 and then winning a black ball frame against James 57-53. Matt then beat Adam 67-15 with a break of 31 for Matt. Castle Ward have now drawn three of their last four matches and Hykeham B winning 4-2 they have dropped a place to fifth.

The Lincoln Snooker Academy side still remain unbeaten and the only side in all of the leagues. Their latest result was a 5-1 home win over Lincoln Snooker Club G. Daniel Sherman started the ball rolling with a comfortable 50-7 victory over Jazz Bailey. Jacob Louca made it 2-0 when he won a black ball frame 42-29 against Ollie Schmidt 42-39. Mark Gibbons pulled a frame back when he defeated Brandon Staples 50-16. Daniel made a return to the table and made it two wins from twon on the night when he defeated Michael Stacey 42-33. Jayden Hunt played the remaining two frames firstly defeating Ollie 66-1 and then he beat Michael 59-31. Cube & Triangle had an encouraging 3-3 result at home to Moorlands & Railway B. The Cube went 3-0 up which saw victories for Jack Belton, Gary Chambers and Glynn Ayris. Scott Simpson quickly pulled two frames back when he defeated Karl Clayton 58-22 and then he defeated Dan Chambers 52-11. The finals frame saw Duncan MacDonald defeat Marley Clayton 55-37 to earn a share of the spoils. Moorlands & Railway A are well clear in second place and are 19 points clear of the third placed team, however they are 15 points behind the league leaders. Their latest result was a 4-2 home win over Lincoln Snooker Club H. Trev Porter put the Moorlands one up when he beat Dave Poucher 60-23 with the help of a 25 break. Leigh Blades levelled the scores at 1-1 with a 49-17 victory over Josh Weaver. James Byrne put the Snooker Club side in front when he won a black ball frame 50-45 against Nathan Shasby. Back came the Moorlands when they took the remaining frames. Liam Shasby squared the match defeating Tom Boyle 55-12. Trev Porter won his second frame on the evening defeating Leigh 51-7. The final frame saw Josh defeat James 51-31 to complete the comeback.

Rob Hall was in good form and rarely has a bad day with breaks of 236, 53 and an unfinished break of 171 in his victory over Fraser. Rob has now passed over 450 breaks of 100 or more in the Billiards League as well as several breaks of a 100 or more in the Snooker League. Anna was also in good form and defeated Tristan 200-91 for a 2-0 win and promotes them back to the top of the league by just one point and a game in hand of Castle Ward A. Castle Ward A were beaten 2-0 at home to Hykeham A, Steve Robinson recorded his first win of the season in the Billiards League when he defeated Dean 200-175 the later having breaks of 50 and 49. Dave Coutts completed the win playing well in defeating Nick Haywood 200-96. this victory puts them just one point behind Castle Ward and Hykeham B.
