It was a good week for the top two teams in the Spec & Fix Premier League. Lincoln Snooker Club A were away at Woodhall Spa Con Club and came away with a 6-1 victory. Matt Ransome with a break of 41 won the opening frame 86-10 against Neil and Matt beat Neil again winning 61-33. Jamie and Dan shared the next two frames, Jamie took the first 65-26 with a break of 30 for Jamie and Dan replied with a break of 36 taking the frame 85-55. Matt Lee won his two frames against Marc, winning the first 69-37 and in the second frame Matt won 122-1 with a break of 36 and a 79 clearance. Daren completed the victory with a 60-41 win against Dan. Newark Con Club were away to Lincoln Snooker Club B, Dale won the first two frames both against Calum. Dale with a break of 54 won the first frame 57-28 and 65-30. The home sides Glenn put his teams first point on the board when he won a black ball frame 60-58 against Dale. Adam extended the Con Clubs lead with two victories against Hugo 55-23 and despite a break of 40 from Hugo Adam won 60-50. The final two frames between Glenn and Rob were shared, Glenn took the first 55-36 and Rob replied with 60-33. Lincoln Snooker Club C ended their run of four defeats in row when they beat Lincoln Snooker Club D 5-2. Chris put the D team one up despite his opponent James, compiling a break of 39 winning 64-55. The C team hit back winning the next five frames which saw two wins each for Stu and Justin and one from Lee. The D teams other point came in the final frame when Mark beat Lee 65-49.

Lincoln Snooker Club F were held to a 3-3 draw with Castle Ward A which makes them Champions of The Lincoln Security First Division, congratulations to them, is there be a LSC quadruple on the cards in the LDBSA leagues! Despite Castle Ward having to concede two points due to being a player short. Tim won his to frames when he beat Matt 63-36 and a black ball frame 41-40 against Nick. Rob lost his first frame 50-34 against Brian but won his second frame 67-34 against James. Lincoln Snooker Club F have won the league with two games to spare. The second and third placed teams, Lincoln Snooker Club E and Hykeham A fought out a 3-3 draw. Steve put Hykeham one up when he won a black ball frame 47-43 against Mark, Mark then played Dave and he won that 63-54 to level the scores. Rob put Hykeham back in front when he defeated Andy 53-27 but then Andy won his second frame 69-13 against Dan. Steve won his second frame of the evening when he defeated Anthony 49-29. The final frame saw Anthony beat Rob 61-51 to earn a share of the spoils. Hykeham A face the league leaders Lincoln Snooker Club F in their next fixture. Castle Ward B recorded their fifth win of the season when they defeated Hykeham B 4-2. Ken won the opening frame 65-33 against Michael but Hykeham hit back and took the next two frames which saw wins for Dave ad Tristan. Ken then levelled the scores when he won a black ball frame 47-45 against Darren. Kev also won a black ball frame for Castle Ward 42-39 against Dave. The final frame saw Jack defeat Tristan 71-41 for an away win.

Lincoln Snooker Academy need to avoid defeat in the last two matches to get their name in the record books, going unbeaten during the season. Their latest victory was a 4-2 away against Lincoln Snooker Club G. Jacob shared the opening two frames, firstly defeating Ollie 50-25 but then lost 54-35 to Jazz. The impressive Jayden defeated Gibbo 59-44 and with a 39 break he beat Michael 81-25. Sandwiched in between Jayden’s victories was a victory for Brandon who defeated Josh 50-40 and the same two players played the final frame but this time Josh won 51-16. Moorlands & Railway A won 5-1 away at Lincoln Snooker Club H, Trev and Liam won two frames each and John shared his two frames when he defeated Tom 58-37 but then lost to Tom on a black ball frame 63-56. Moorlands & Railway B also won 5-1, at home to Cube & Triangle. Andy Campbell and Scott put the home side two nil up when they defeated Marley and Dan. Glynn pulled a frame back for the Cube & Triangle when he came from behind to win a black ball frame 54-50 against Phil. Scott made it two wins from two on the night with a comfortable 48-5 against Jack. Duncan was another black ball winner when he also came from behind to defeat Karl 64-58 and the last frame was won by Andy Riggall 46-19 against Glynn.

Lincoln Snooker Club A are still leading the way in the Billiards League after a 1-1 draw with second placed Hykeham B. Anna put Lincoln Snooker Club one up when she beat Fraser 200-181 and then Tristan played very well when he defeated Darren 200-60 to earn a draw. Hykeham A beat Castle Ward A 2-0, the result could of gone either way with two close matches. Dave beat Nick 200-193 and Dan won 200-183 against Dean, who had breaks of 69 and 57.
