Lincoln Snooker Club A are the Champions of the Spec & Fix Premier Snooker League for the third season running after their third 6-1 in a row and winning 25 out of 29 matches played. Their latest win was against Lincoln Snooker Club C. The two Matts, Ransome and Lee got the home side of to a flyer, Matt Ransome with a 34 break defeated Phil 75-28 and he followed that up with a 70-33 victory over James. Matt Lee made it 3-0 with the aid of a 72 break in his 72-0 win over Lee and Matt soon made it 4-0 with a 63-31 victory over Phil. Daren made it 5-0 with a 49 break in his 74-7 victory against Gary. Gav then made it 6-0 when he defeated James 59-22. The final frame saw Lee earn his sides only point of the evening with a sound 84-33 over Jamie. Newark Con Club were confirmed as runners up after they beat nearest rivals Woodhall Spa Con Club 5-2. Adam won the first frame 67-52 despite a break of 44 from his opponent Dan. Adam also won the second frame 82-22 against Dan for a 2-0 lead and a good start for his team. Dale then played two successive frame against Jamie and won them both 70-38 and then with a break of 64 taking the second frame 65-28, this frame meant Newark were assured of second place. Matt making an appearance after a six week break but was unable to get a win next to his name when Neil beat him 61-30. Neil also won his second frame but faced Dave this time and he won that 81-29. Neil then was looking for his hat-trick of wins on the night but just fell short when Dave won a close fame winning 56-48. Lincoln Snooker Club B and Lincoln Snooker Club D met in the remaining fixture, the B side were unbeaten against their D team and they also made it six wins from six when they won 5-2. Mark put the opening frame 66-49 against Glenn and the same two players played the second frame and this time Glenn won 47-35. Lincoln Snooker Academy player Jacob made his Premier League debut and he didn’t let his side down when he defeated George 70-61. Rick and Ben played out he next two frames, Ben took the first frame 65-22 to level the scores for the D team but Rick hit back and took the next frame 70-14. Calum was in good form and he took the two remaining frames both against Chris. In their first frame Calum compiled a break of 48 in a frame score of 73-26 and a break of 37 in the final frame winning 75-30.

Lincoln Snooker Club F have made it a hat trick of wins for the club when they were clear win-ners of the Lincoln Security League. The Lincoln Snooker Club side defeated Hykeham A 5-1. Edward and James put the Lincoln Snooker Club side 2-0 with victories over Steve and Gary. Rob pulled a frame back for Hykeham when he beat Brian 55-25. Nick restored their two frame lead when he defeated Steve 61-32. Wayne recorded two more wins firstly beating Gary 60-46 and then Rob 62-35. Wayne losing just one frame this season out of his twenty two matches played. Second placed Lincoln Snooker Club E were beaten 4-2 away to Hykeham B. Michael put Hyke-ham one up when he defeated Mark 54-41. Mark then played Darren and he came from behind to win a black ball frame 48-46. Dave was in good form for the home side and he won a high scoring frame winning 82-47 against Steve. Steve levelled the scores when he beat Tristan 51-31. Hykeham then took control and won the remaining two frames, firstly Chris beat Andy 56-21 and then Michael also beat Andy 62-32. Castle Ward’s two teams met in the remaining fixture and they B side had three wins this season against their stablemates. Tim put he A side one up when he defeated Ken 58-27. Ken played better in the second frame to level the scores at 1-1 when he beat Rob 51-11. Castle Ward A then took the next three frames, which saw wins for Adam, Adrian and Tim, the latter winning a black ball frame 57-51 against Jack. The final frame went to Jack when he defeated Adam 68-22.

The youngsters from Lincoln Snooker Academy are on the verge of making history if they avoid defeat next week against second placed Moorlands & Railway A. Their latest result was a 5-1 home over Moorlands & Railway B, Jacob put the first point on the board when he beat Duncan 61-22, this was followed by another win for Jayden when he defeated Andy Campbell 58-45. Jacob played his second frame against Phil and he made it two wins on the night when he beat Phil 62-30. Scott stopped the rot for the Moorlands side when he defeated Daniel 47-26, which turned out to be their only point of the night. Jayden also made it two wins on the evening when he won a close encounter against Scott winning 56-41. the final frame went to Daniel when he payed very well and recorded a comfortable 57-5 won over Andy Riggall. Runners up in the league, Moorlands & Railway A recorded a 4-2 home win against Lincoln Snooker Club G. Moorlands were in a hurry and they raced into a 4-0 lead, Trev put the home side one up when he beat Ollie 45-21. Nathan made it 2-0 when he won a closely fought frame also against Ollie winning 54-44. Two experienced players, John and Gibbo met in the third frame and the victory went to the home player when John won 72-34. Liam made it 4-0 with a 57-24 victory over 57-24. Gibbo gained revenge in the fifth frame when he defeated John 48-29. Josh was the other winner for the Lincoln Snooker Club side when he just got the better of Nathan 55-41. Lincoln Snooker Club H have joined their G team on 68 points when they beat Cube & Triangle 4-2. George started the ball rolling and he put his teams first point on board with a comfortable 40-5 win over Dan. Gary levelled the scores when he beat Birthday Boy Leigh 54-12. Tom put the Snooker Club side back in front with a 51-32 victory over Glynn. Dave increased the lead further when he just got the better of his opponent Jack. Marley pulled a frame back for the Cube & Triangle when he won a close frame 45-34 against James. Ray completed the victory with a 55-36 win against Karl.

Lincoln Snooker Club A lost the second match of the season when Castle Ward A inflicted the defeat. Nick was up first against Anna with both players on a similar handicap and Nick settled down earlier and with breaks of 35 and 38 he beat Anna 200-90. Dean completed the victory with two breaks of 43 against Darren in his 200-145 win. Lincoln Snooker Club remain top of the league and have a game in hand over Castle Ward. This win by Castle Ward puts them in second place having won more matches than Hykeham B. New comers to the game of Billiards, Lincoln Snooker Club B had an encouraging 2-0 win over Hykeham A. Both matches were close with Jayden winning the first match 200-187 against Dave. Leigh recorded his fourth win of the season so far when he just got the better of Dan winning 200-185. This win puts Lincoln Snooker Club just two points behind this weeks opponents and have Hykeham B and Lincoln Snooker Club left to play. Lincoln Snooker Club A need just one point to give the club a clean sweep of league winners.
