The last and final week of the season for the Premier League sponsored by Spec & Fix Locking Solutions will decide who are the champions of the league. Lincoln Snooker Club A have a slender two points lead at the top and their final game will be against away against Woodhall Spa, while the Newark Con Club are also away against Lincoln Snooker Club B. Both teams won 4-3 this week. Lincoln Snooker Club A entertained their B side. Lee Mason made a rare appearance and played three frames straight off. He first two frames were against Matt Ransome and Lee won them both, Lee won the first 67-43 and just got the better of Matt 54-44 in the second frame. In his third frame he faced an inform Matt Lee and with a 70 break Matt won 77-33. Mat the faced Rick Epton and Matt won that 61-19. Gavin Whittle then played Rick and Gav won that frame 56-44. In the sixth frame Gav was in fine form and he won that 125-5 against Calum Baptist. This stirred Calum into action in the final frame which he won 74-29 against Jamie Barker. Newark Con Club were at home to Woodhall Spa Con Club, Neil Dowlman put Woodhall Spa 2-0 when he defeated Adam Sears in both frames. The first frame Neil won 61-48 and with a 35 break in the second frame Neil went on to win 48-13. Dave Jobling continued his good form winning all three last week Dave won all three this week. Dave Played Kieran Richards-Witham twice, Dave won the first frame 46-4 and the second frame 58-8. Sandwiched in-between Dave defeated Nigel Salmon 68-19. Nigel then played another two frames, both against Matt Bavin. Nigel won the first frame against Matt 67-47 but lost the final frame 59-13.

Lincoln Snooker Club C have secured top spot in the Premier League Shield Sponsored by Lincoln Snooker Club after a 5-2 home win against their E team. Chris Robinson and Simon Mower won the opening three frames, Chris defeated Andy Gill 55-44 and 68-51. Simon then beat Steve Burnett 49-26. Steve returned to the table for the fourth frame against Damon Sykes, which Steve won 61-33 with a 37 break. Damon then played Mark Taylor and Damon recorded a comfortable win 61-1 and a lead of 4-1 for his team. Home team Captain Lee Applewhite played his two frames, firstly against Mark and it couldn’t have been any closer which went to Lee 38-37. Lee faced Steve in the final frame and it was a high scoring frame which went to Steve 75-64. Lincoln Snooker Club E play Moorlands and Railway A in the final match and just one between them, this match will decide who will come bottom in the league. Lincoln Snooker Club D will become runners-up in the league after a 6-1 home win against Moorlands & Railway A. Ed Taylor started the ball rolling with a 45-10 win over Gary Falkinder. Phil Cross and Stu Cannings soon made it 3-0 with victories over Joe Hutchinson and Tom Hutchinson respectively. Sean Falkinder was the Moorlands winner on the night when he defeated Phil 59-20. Another win for Stu 63-50 against Joe. Justin Hunt played the two remaining frames firstly he beat Gary 41-30 and Justin won a black ball game 51-47 against Sean.

Lincoln Snooker Club F and Hykeham A both won 5-1 so its still just three points between them. Hykeham A played basement side Lincoln Snooker Academy B. Gary Beardsley, Dave Coutts, Dan May, and two wins for Rob Chapman. Jazz Bailey was the away sides only point winner when he beat Gary 45-8. Lincoln Snooker Club F were away to the Cube & Triangle. George Barratt won the opening two frames against Pete Watson and Gary Chambers. Karl Clayton pulled one frame back for the Cube & Triangle winning a black ball game 55-50 against Mark Gibbons. Mark Handford made it 4-1 with a 38 break and a frame score of 72-19 against Pete. The two Marks played the remaining to frames Gibbo beat Gary 56-28 and Mark Handford beat Karl 46-9. Moorlands & Railway C had a good 4-2 away win against Lincoln Snooker Academy A. The first frame of the night was high scoring between Oli Bagnall and Andy Campbell, which Andy won on the black 70-63 to put the Railway Side one up. Daniel Sherman for the Academy side won a black ball game against Andy to level the scores. Phil Barnett put his side back in front for the second time when he had a comfortable 54-9 win over Oli Bagnall. Scott Simpson made sure of an away win when he played two frames in a row. Firstly, beating Oli May 44-27 and then Oli Bishell 67-30. James Lilley won the remaining frame for the Academy when he just got the better of Andy Riggall 43-34.
Castle Ward A remain in fourth place when they defeated Moorlands & Railway B 4-2. Tim Dunn put the away side one up when he beat Josh Weaver 71-45 which included a 28 break in Tim’s Win. Nathan Shasby levelled the scores with a 49-38 victory over Adam Petty. The reliable Adrian Bunn put Castle Ward back in front when he beat Liam Shasby 52-22. Josh Weaver made it 2 wins from two on the night when he won a black ball decider 42-38 against Scott Gratrick. Adrian and Tim won the remaining two frames against Nathan and Liam. The two Castle Ward teams played out a 4-2 win for the C team. Ken Hill won his two frames for the B side while Martin Key, Tristan Fussey, Graham Smith and Craig Starbuck replied for the C team.
