Lincoln Snooker Club F rounded their successful season off with a 4-2 home wIn over Castle Ward C and finished three points in front of second placed Hykeham A and were crowned Champions of the Adam Sears Snooker Coaching First Division. George Barrett didn’t waste any time racing into a 2-0 lead, firstly defeating Rob Reeves 60-8 and then a 61-42 victory over Tim Dunn. Adrian Bunn played Ben Rickards and played very well to beat Ben 53-21. Mark Handford restored his sides two frame lead when he beat Adam Petty 63-20. Adrian returned back to the table and continued his fine play beating Gibbo 75-42. Mark played his second frame of the night and he defeated Tim 75-28. Hykeham A were away to Moorlands & Railway B and came away with a 5-1 victory Steve Robinson started the ball rolling and with a 42-34 win over Josh Weaver. Dave Coutts made it 2-0 when he defeated Trev Porter 61-25. Matt May making a rare appearance and won both of his frames, firstly beating Nathan Shasby 66-9 and then Liam Shasby 55-10. Dan May made it 5-0 when he defeated Trev 49-33. The two players that started the night finished the night but this time victory went to Josh with a 65-38 victory. Third placed Castle Ward C played Moorlands & Railway C and they didn’t hang about racing into a 4-0 which saw two victories for Martin Key and one apiece for Craig Starbuck and Tristan Fussey. Ian Baker and Scott Simpson replied for the Moorlands & Railway. Cube & Triangle were beaten 2-4 by Castle Ward B, The Cube side went 2-0 up which saw wins for Gary Chambers and Pete Watson, but Castle Ward side hit back and took the remaining four frames. Matt Strickson defeated Karl Clayton 52-18 which was followed by a win for Kev Cottam who defeated Gary Chambers 54-19. Ken Hill put his side in front for the first time when he beat Pete 47-19. Matt played his second frame on the night and their last frame of the season defeating Karl on the black 47-46. The Lincoln Snooker Academy A side played rivals Lincoln Snooker Club G. The result would determine who would finish second to bottom with the Academy A side having a one-point advantage. Daniel Sherman but the Academy side one up when he defeated Matt Todd 57-14. Leigh Blades has had a lot of black ball matches this season and they usually go to his opponents, but this time Leigh won 48-47 against Oli May. Oli Bishell regained his sides lead when he defeated Tom Boyle 62-23. Matt played Daniel for the second time and this time the win went Matts way with a 60-40 victory. Mr Blades played Oli Bishell in his second frame but it was Oli who took the honours 61-33. The final frame saw Tom defeat Oli Bagnall 56-43. This meant the Academy side finished above their opponents. The remaining match between Lincoln Snooker Academy B side played Hykeham B but were beaten 4-2 Darren Edwards and Chris Ellis put Hykeham two up with victories over Jayden and Jazz respectively. Jayden and Jazz then played their second frames on the night, Jayden defeated Scott Morrison 37-13 but Jazz lost 51-26 against Darren. Joe Jackson played out the final two frames firstly defeating Chris 44-36 but lost a black ball game against Scott.
