Lincoln Snooker Club A remain the leaders of the Spec & Fix Premier League despite a 4-3 loss away against Newark Con Club. Matt Ransome put the Lincoln Snooker Club side two up defeating Matt Bavin 51-23 and 54-23 and a break of 38 in the second frame. Dale Schofield pulled a frame back when he defeated Daren Doughty 55-11. The same two layers played the fourth frame but this time it was Darn who was the victor with a 72-27 victory. Dale played his third frame of the night, this time he faced Matt Ransome and Dale eventually won the frame 82-56. Home team Captain Rob Hall played the two remaining frames and in his first frame he levelled the scores at 3-3 when he defeated Gavin Whittle 72-26 with Rob recording a break of 60. The final and deciding frame was played by the same two players and the result was no different with Rob winning 76-32. Despite this win Newark Con Club drop to third in the league due to Woodhall Spa winning 5-2 away at Lincoln Snooker Club D. Woodhall Spa started off very well winning the first five frames, Dan Burt won his two frames firstly defeating Simon Mower 67-56 and then George Barrett 50-37. Jamie Turner was in good form winning the next three frames, Jamie played Chris Robinson in his first two frames taking the first 70-57 and then 77-1. In his third frame Jamie defeated Ben Rickards with an impressive 101-33 score line. In the sixth frame Ben gained his sides first point when he defeated Marc Pickworth 59-27. The final frame saw a victory for Mark Handford who played Marc winning 59-25. Lincoln Snooker Club B recorded an impressive 7-0 win over their C team, Calum Baptist and Hugo Tomas won both their matches and Glenn Foster won his three frames. Premier League Table shows Lincoln Snooker Club A on 28 points, Woodhall Spa 28 points, Woodhall Spa 27 points, Lincoln Snooker Club B 20 points, Lincoln Snooker D 12 points and Lincoln Snooker Club C 10 points. Lincoln Security Snooker League 1 Lincoln Snooker Club E are the new leaders of the Lincoln Security Snooker League 1 after a 4-2 home win over previous leaders Castle Ward A. Adie Bunn put Castle Ward one up when he played very well in defeating Steve Burnett 72-24. The Snooker Club side hit back and Steve then played Rob Reeves and with a break of 25 he won 81-10. Mark Turner won his two frames defeating Tim Dunn 74-29 and then Adam Petty 65-22. Andy Gill made it 4-1 when he beat Scott Gratrick 73-49. The final frame saw another victory for Adie defeating Andy 72-20. Lincoln Snooker Club F move into second place having won one more match than Castle Ward A. Wayne Bean who like his brother Paul last played in the league over 15 years ago, both players unbeaten so far this season. Wayne faced Matt Strickson in the opening frame and with the help of a 38 break Wayne took the frame 64-25. Ken Hill levelled the scores at 1-1 when he just got the better of James Durance 56-43. Brian Lawson put the Snooker Club side back in front when he defeated Craig Wallace 51-40. Wayne then defeated Kev Cottam 70-26 for a 3-1 lead. Kev then faced James in the fifth frame which went to James 56-44. The final frame saw Ken for the Castle Ward defeat Brian 60-13. The final match was between the two Hykeham teams and it was the B who came out on top winning 4-2. Rob Chapman put the A team one up when he beat Tristan Fussey 45-23. But the B team hit back taking the next three frames in a row. Chris Ellis defeated Steve Robinson 58-36 which was followed by a re-spotted black in the frame between Michael Morrison and Gary Beardsley, the frame eventually going to Michael. Tristan returned to the table and played very well defeating Dan May 69-17. Rob Chapman returned to the table and made it 2-3 when he played well defeating Chris 64-14. The final match saw Michael take the point against Dan winning 47-33 for a 4-2 victory to the B team. Lincoln Snooker Club E are in first place on 22 points, Lincoln Snooker Club F on 21 points, Castle Ward A on 21 points, Hykeham B on 18 points, Hykeham A on 17 points and Castle Ward B on 9 points. George Barrett Snooker League 2 Moorlands & Railway A are just one point clear at the top of the George Barrett Snooker League 2 after a 5-1 win over their B team. Josh Weaver started the ball rolling when he beat Andy Campbell 42-29. The A side raced into unsaleable lead which saw victories for Nathan Shasby who won both of his two matches, Trev Porter and Liam Shasby defeated Scott Simpson 73-25 despite a break of 25 from Scott. The B side lone point came when Ian Baker defeated Josh 61-21. Lincoln Snooker Academy also won 5-1 away at the Cube & Triangle. The Cube took the first frame 67-36 when Karl Clayton defeated Jacob Louca. Daniel Sherman levelled the scores playing very well in beating Gary Chambers 51-19. Young Jayden Hunt won both of his frames firstly beating Jack Belton 55-35 and then Karl 46-30. Sandwiched in-between those two frames Oli Bishell compiled a break of 27 in his 74-4 victory over Dan Chambers. The final frame saw Brandon Staples defeat Jack 38-23 to complete the victory. The two Lincoln Snooker Club sides met and it was the H team who took the win. Tom Cutten, George Lorenti and Tom Boyle raced into a 3-0 lead, Tom coming from behind to defeat Jared Bailey 42-40. Mark Gibbons pulled a frame back when he defeated Leigh Blades 62-37, Mark also won his second frame 51-36 against George. Ray Reid was the other point winner for the H side when he just got the better of Michael Stacey 45-32. Moorlands & Railway A are top on 27 points, Lincoln Snooker Academy 26 points, Lincoln Snooker Club H 15 points, Moorlands & Railway B 14 points, Lincoln Snooker Club G 14 points and Cube & Triangle 12 points
