Spec & Fix Snooker Premier League The premier league couldn’t be much closer with Woodhall Spa Con Club, Newark Con Club and Lincoln Snooker Club all on 41 points. The top match was between Newark Con and Woodhall Spa Con Club, Adam Sears contested the first three frames which Adam won 2-1, the first frame Adam won 78-23 but Dan took the next frame 68-17 with a break of 43. The third frame went to Adam 67-9. Dale Schofield and Neil Dowlman competed for the next two frames, Neil took the first 53-29 but Dale took the second 61-16. Dave Jobling and Jamie Turner completed the match, Jamie won the first frame 66-39 to level the score at 3-3. The final frame was close but with a break of 62 from Jamie to win 75-66. Lincoln Snooker Club A recorded a 6-1 home win over stablemates Lincoln Snooker Club C. Justin Hunt opened the scoring for the C team when he defeated Daren Doughty 74-41, Daren then took the second frame 54-32 against Justin. Matt Lee and Gary Falkinder played the next three frames which all went to Matt, the first frame 88-16 with breaks of 33 and 32, the second frame 70-4 with a break of 45 and then the third frame 59-14. Jamie Barker and Lee Applewhite then played the two remaining frames which Jamie took 54-34 and with a break of 48 in the second in match frame winning 69-2. Lincoln Snooker Club B and D played the remaining match, which went to the D team when they won 5-2. The winning points came from Simon Mower and George Barrett with two wins each and a black ball frame from Ben Rickards The B teams points came from Calum Baptist and Hugo Tomas.

Lincoln Security Snooker League 1 Lincoln Snooker Club F have extended their lead at the top of the league after they whitewashed Hykeham A 6-0, James Durrance and Wayne Bean with two wins each and Matt Todd and Nick McCauley with a break of 31 winning their frames. Second placed Lincoln Snooker Club E were held to a 3-3 draw by Hykeham B. Steve Burnett opened the scoring for the Snooker Club side, firstly defeating Michael Morrison 45-36 and in his second frame won a black ball decider 45-40 against Darren Edwards. Dave Croft pulled one frame back when he also won a black ball frame defeating Andy Gill 62-55. Tristan Fussey levelled the scores when he beat Andy 59-35. Anthony Liddell put Lincoln Snooker Club E back in front when he defeated Dave 47-10. The final frame was another black ball game and this went to Tristan despite a break of 28 from his opponent Anthony winning 58-54. The final match was between the two Castle Ward sides, the B team were winless before this week’s match, Ken Hill put the B side one up when he defeated Adam Petty 53-11. Rob Reeves levelled the scores when he beat Craig Wallace 67-37. Kev Cottam restored the lead for the B team when he played very well to defeat Tim Dunn 55-3. Jack McGovern made it 3-1 playing very well to defeat Adam 70-36. Ken returned to the table and their first victory was assured when he beat Rob 79-29. The final frame saw Scott Gratrick defeat Kev 66-12.

George Barrett Snooker League 2 There’s no change at the top of the 2nd division with the top teams winning 4-2. The Lincoln Snooker Academy side entertained Moorlands & Railway B and were made to fight hard for a victory. They lost the two opening frames, Kev Betts opened the scoring for the Moorlands side when he won a black baller 49-42 against Jacob Louca. Duncan MacDonald also won a black ball game when he defeated Daniel Sherman 51-44. Jayden Hunt pulled one frame back playing very well in his 77-14 victory over Andy Campbell. Brandon Staples levelled the scores when he also played well to beat Andy Riggall 59-9. The Academy side went in front for the first the first time when Oli Bishell defeated Phil Barnett 57-24. The deciding frame could of gone either way but it was Brandon who was victorious when he won a black ball frame 51-50 to earn a 4-2 win. Moorlands & Railway A were at home to Lincoln Snooker Club G and came away with a 4-2 win. Trev Porter opened the scoring for the home side when he defeated Ollie Schmidt 42-26. Ollie remained at the table and he defeated Nathan Shasby 44-29. Liam Shasby put the Moorlands back in front when he beat Jared Bailey 48-14. John Rice extended his sides lead when he played Jared winning 57-31. Michael Stacey pulled a frame back for the away side when he beat Trev 49-39. The final frame was decided when John beat Michael 54-35 for a well-earned victory. After two successive defeats Lincoln Snooker Club H returned back to winning ways when they faced Cube & Triangle. James Byrne opened the scoring for Lincoln Snooker Club when he defeated Dan Chambers 54-22, this was followed up with a 44-21 victory for Tom Boyle against Glen Ayris. Gary Chambers pulled a frame back for the Cube & Triangle when he beat Leigh Blades 56-47. George Lorenti levelled the scores for the away side when he got the better of Dan winning 53-39. Glen Ayris recorded his first win of the season when he won a low scoring frame winning on the black 45-31. Ray Reid wrapped the night up for the Lincoln Snooker club side whn he defeated Gary 64-41 for a 4-2 win.
