Lincoln Snooker Club A have extended their lead at the top of the Spec & Fix Premier League after a 5-2 away win over the Newark Belvedere Club, however we won't now the true table until the outstanding matches are all played. Dale Schofield and Gavin Whittle shared the opening two frames, Dale took the first 55-38 and Gavin replied with a 48-7 victory. Matt Lee made it 2-1 to the Lincoln Snooker Club with 77-5 against Adam Sears. Matt followed that up with another victory defeating Matt Bavin 79-4. Gavin came back to the table to play his third frame and he made it his second win of the evening with a 64-33 win over Matt Bavin. Newark’s Dave Jobling and Lincoln Snooker Clubs Jamie Barker played the two remaining frames, Jamie took the first 50-15 and Dave replied in the final frame 56-28. Lincoln Snooker Club C and B played the remaining fixture and it was the B team who were the victors. Lincoln Snooker Club B didn't stand about and they took the first six frames. Calum Baptist opened the scoring firstly defeating Nick McCauley 69-14 and then with a 58-31 victory over Matt Todd. Matt Ransome then defeated Nick 70-0 with a break of 45. Matt Ransome then made it 4-0 with a 66-33 win over Matt Todd. Glenn Foster defeated Nick 51-39 and then followed that with a 64-11 against Brian Lawson. Brian faired better in the final frame of the evening defeating Chris Robinson 66-43 for his sides only point. The Spec & Fix Dream

Lincoln Snooker Club E lost their first game of the season when they were beaten by the young Lincoln Snooker Academy side. Jacob Louca opened the scoring when he defeated Jack Chamberlain 59-45. Daniel Sherman made it 2-0 when he also defeated Jack by 52-16 scoreline. Tim Booth pulled a frame back when he won a high scoring frame 85-71 against James Lilley. James got this own back when he played Tim again winning 75-28. Jayden made it 4-1 when he played Phil “The Action” Allis when he made a return to league after 32 years. Jayden took the first frame 62-28 but Phil rolled back the years beating Jayden 52-42. Lincoln Snooker Club D are still top of the table after a 4-2 home win over Castle Ward A. Phil Cross put his side one up when he came from behind to win on the black against Rob Reeves 57-55. Stu Cannings made it 2-0 when he defeated Tim Dunn 81-39. Castle Ward hit back in the next two frames winning them both to level the score at 2-2. Adam Petty recorded a good 66-39 win over Adam Hanson and Tim played his second frame defeating George Barrett 55-19. Justin Hunt played the two remaining frames for the Lincoln Snooker Club, Justin defeated Adrian Bunn 55-20 and then he got the better of Adam winning 45-33. The two Hykeham sides met which resulted in a 4-2 win for the A side despite losing the first two frames. Dave Croft took the first frame 55-24 against Dan May and then Tristan defeated Gary Beardsley 45-31. Steve Robinson pulled a frame back for the A side when he won a black ball frame 59-51 against Tristan. Steve then levelled the scores at 2-2 with a 46-24 victory against Chris Ellis. Gary Beardsley put the A side in front for the first time when he also won a black ball frame 69-64 against Chris. The final frame saw the first two players, Dave Croft and Dan May play each other again and this time the winner was Dan when he won 52-10. Moorlands & Railway A remain winless after the opening five frames, their latest result was a 2-4 defeat at home to Lincoln Snooker Club F. Nathan Shasby put the Moorlands one up with a useful 56-15 win over Neil Hall. Steve Jakes made it 1-1 with a 40-29 victory over Josh Weaver. Steve Lambert put the Moorlands back in front with a 56-10 victory over John Griffiths. Neil Hall played his second frame and he won a black ball frame 45-38 against Liam Shasby and levelled the scores at 2-2. Steve Jakes and Steve Lambert played out the fifth frame and Steve Jakes made it two wins from two on the night when he won 82-33. John Griffiths made sure of a win for the Lincoln Snooker Club when he defeated Nathan 62-49.

After four successive defeats Lincoln Snooker Club H stopped the rot after an encouraging 3-3 draw with newcomers Hykeham C. James Byrne put the Snooker Club side one up with a very good result in defeating Cyril Green 55-38. Michael Rudd’s unbeaten run continues for Hykeham when he beat Dave Poucher 53-41 to level the scores. Hykeham went in front for the first time when Peter Jenson good form continued when he defeated Leigh Blades 54-16. The experienced Clive Harris levelled the scores for the home side when he beat Paul Lonsdale 62-12 with a break of 25. Steve Bailey played put Hykeham back in front with an excellent display defeating Ray Reid 63-0. Clive returned to the table and he faced Peter Jenson this time and the deciding frame went to Clive with a 66-37 victory and more importantly registering a draw next to their name. Moorlands and Railway B remain unbeaten and are just one point clear at the top of the Georger Barrett Snooker League 2. Their latest result was a 4-2 home win over Lincoln Snooker Club G. The two Andy’s Riggall & Campbell put the Moorlands two-nil up, Andy Riggall defeated Ollie Schmitd 47-25 and Andy Campbell beat Georger Lorenti 48-12. Ollie returned back to the table and he faired better in his 47-34 victory over Kev Betts and his sides first point on the evening. The unbeaten Scott Simpson excellent form continued with a 56-27 victory over Michael Stacey. George also had a better second frame defeating Duncan MacDonald 58-17. The deciding frame between Kev Betts and Michael Stacey was a one sided affair with Kev taking the frame 61-14. Castle Ward and Cube & Triangle played out a 3-3 draw, Marley Clayton put the Cube & Triangle one up with a useful victory against Kev Cottam winning 60-37. Jack Belton made it 2-0 for the away side when he won a black ball frame 53-46 win against Matt Strickson. Castle Ward hit back and took the next three frames, Craig Wallace with an excellent 74-18 win over Glynn Ayris. Kev Cottam levelled the scores at 2-2 with a 49-37 win against Karl Clayton. Matt Strickson put the home side 3-2 with a 47-28 victory over Maryley Clayton. The final frame saw Gary Chambers defeat Craig Wallace 59-12 to earn a share of the spoils.
