Lincoln Snooker Club A remain unbeaten having all their six matches, there latest was a 6-1 away win against stablemates Lincoln Snooker Club B. Jamie Barker started the ball rolling winning the two opening frames against Chris Robinson 73-48and 79-36. Matt Lee followed that up also winning his two frames against Simon Mower 78-16 and 50-39. Jamie played his third frame of the evening and he also won that 47-38 against Glenn Foster. Gav Whittle played out the two remaining frames for the A team, Gav made it 6-0 defeating Glenn 63-25. The final frame went to Glenn when he came from behind to beat Gav 56-53. Newark Belvedere are in third place after they defeated Belvedere Showboats 5-2. Dale Schofield put his side two up, firstly defeating Joe Marum 46-23 and he the beat Harry Goodwin 65-5. Matt Bavin made it 3-0 with the help of a 40 break in defeating Bradley Pashley 73-12. A welcome return to the league for the showboats Jimmy Gillespie, he won his first frame 89-31 against Matt, but in his second frame Matt reversed the score winning 62-15. Byan Slack pulled another frame back for the showboats when he beat Rob Hall 50-41. the same two players played the remaining frame and this time Rob won that 65-17 with a break of 46.

League Leaders Lincoln Snooker Club D lost for the first time this season when they visited Hykeham B. Michael Morrison put Hykeham one up defeating George Barrett 53-26. Phil Cross levelled the scores when he beat Mark Handford 65-40. Dave Croft put Hykeham back in front when he defeated Adam Hanson 59-18. Stu Cannings levelled the scores again for Lincoln Snooker Club when he beat Darren Edwards 46-14. The remaining two frames could of gone either way but the luck was on Hykeham side, firstly Michale beat Justin Hunt when he came from behind to win on the black 47-45 and Mark Handford also beat Justin on the black 54-52. despite this defeat they are still top of the pile with a four point lead over the unbeaten Lincoln Snooker Academy. The Lincoln Academy side remain unbeaten after 8 matches, their latest result was a 4-2 away win over bottom side Moorlands & Railway A. Jacob Louca put the Academy one up when he defeated Trev Porter 55-3. Jayden Hunt made it 2-0 with a 57-33 victory over Josh Weaver. James Lilley played two successive frames and won them both. Firstly defeating Nathan Shasby 81-23 with a 25 break and a 56-41 victory over Liam Shasby. Steve Lambert earned the Moorlands first point on the evening when he defeated Daniel Sherman 56-41 and Josh Weaver won another frame for the home side when he also beat Daniel 52-38. Hykeham A have moved out of the bottom two places after they beat Lincoln Snooker Club E away 4-2. Gary Beardsley played two frames straight off, both frame against Kai Grey and won them both 66-38 and 54-14. Dave Coutts extended the lead for Hykeham when he beat Phil Allis 56-16. Charlie Matthews won the first point for the home side with a break of 26 in his 69-32 victory over Dave. Steve Robinson played the two remaining frames for Hykeham, he lost his first frame 54-21 against Charlie but won a black ball frame 49-43 against Phil. Castle Ward A were away to Lincoln Snooker Club F and came away with four points which saw victories for Adam Petty and Adrian Bunn and two wins for Tim Dunn. Lincoln Snooker Club s points were gained from Glynn Weston John Griffiths

Moorlands & Railway B are keeping the pressure on league leaders Hykeham C when they collected maximum points at home to Castle Wards B. Kev Betts opened the scoring when he defeated Jackson Porter 44-33. Duncan MacDonald won the first of his two frames 43-27 against Dan Neal. Moorlands captain, Andy Riggall made it 3-0 when he defeated Matt Strickson 54-40. The unbeaten Scott Simpson’s fine form continued with a 52-38 victory over Craig Wallace. Andy Campbell made it five wins from his last six matches when he beat Matt Strickson 44-36. The final frame saw Duncan MacDonald win his second frame of the evening when he defeated Craig Wallace 52-24. Hykeham C under the guidance of Cyril Green are unbeaten in six games, their latest win was a 4-2 away success against Lincoln Snooker Club G. Peter Jenson put Hykeham one up with a 61-33 win over Jared Bailey. Cyril Green then made it 2-0 when he came from behind to win on the black 43-41 against Michele D’Ascoli. Robert Babb made it 3-0 to Hykeham when he had a comfortable victory 62-18 against Jared Bailey. George Lorenti put the Lincoln Snooker Clubs first point on the evening when he got the better of Michael Rudd 51-34. Steve Bailey made sure of a Hykeham win with a 60-36 win over Michael Stacey. The final frame saw George Lorenti make it two wins form two when he beat Paul Lonsdale 50-18. Hykeham have a one point lead at the top of the table. Cube & Triangle recorded their first win in five games when they beat the bottom side Lincoln Snooker Club H 5-1. Jack Belton put the Cube & Triangle one up with a 61-26 victory over Dave Poucher, this was followed by a 65-29 win for Gary Chambers against Leigh Blades. Jack Belton won his second frame of the evening with a 46-23 victory over Tom Boyle. Dan Chambers soon made it 4-0 winning 57-22 against Leigh Blades. Tom Boyle earned the Lincoln Snooker Clubs only point on the evening when he defeated Marley Clayton 50-30. The final frame went to Karl Clayton when he beat Dave Poucher 57-19. this win puts The Cube & Triangle into third place.
