Lincoln Snooker Club A unbeaten run came to an end in the Spec & Fix Premier League when they lost at home to Belvedere Club 4-3. Dale Schofield and Jamie Barker played the opening two frames and Dale took them both 47-34 and 62-11. Matt Lee then played two successive frames against Dave Jobling and Matt won them both 62-22 and 69-40. Gav Whittle put Lincoln Snooker Club back in front when he defeated Rob Hall 79-34, Rob played the remaining two frames against Lee Applewhite and he won them both 64-14 with a break of 54 and 79-18. Bel-vedere remain in second place two points ahead of Lincoln Snooker Club B and they are sixteen points behind Lincoln Snooker Club A with a game in hand. Lincoln Snooker Club B and Lincoln Snooker Club C played the remaining match and it was the B side who won 4-3. Matt Todd put the C team one up when he came from behind to win on the black 62-58 against Calum Baptist. Calum then levelled the scores when he beat Nick McCauley 65-37. James Durance won his first match of the season defeating Calum 60-48. Simon Mower won his two frames firstly defeating Matt Todd 2-12 and then he just got the better of Nick McCauley winning 58-47. Chris Robinson made sure his team won when he had a comfortable 54-3 win over James Durance. The remaining frame saw Brian Lawson win his second frame of the season defeating Chris 57-27.

Lincoln Snooker Club E put in a good performance when they beat Castle Ward A, Tim Dunn put Castle Ward one up when he defeated Tim Booth 52-26 which turned out to be the only point on the night. Tim Booth levelled the scores when he just got the better of Rob Reeves 65-57. Charlie Matthews was in good form when he took the next two frames, firstly defeating Tim Dunn 66-9 with a break of 25 and then with a break of 33 he beat Adam Petty 68-11. Sam Isherwood won a black ball frame 59-57 against Adrian Bunn and then followed that up with a 61-47 win also against Adrian to complete a 5-1 victory.Hykeham B are just one point behind second placed Lincoln Snooker Academy side after a 4-2 away win over Moorlands & Railway A. Josh Weaver put the Moorlands side one up when he beat Mark Handford 43-31. Hykeham hit back taking the next three frames, Darren Edward won a close encounter with Trev Porter winning 40-32. Michael Morrison came from behind to win on the black 49048 against John Rice and Tristan Fussey beat Steve Lambert 53-29. Nathan Shasby gained his sides second point 43-30 against Tristan. The final frame was another close affair with Michael Morrison winning a black ball frame 45-42 against Josh Weaver. With a bit of luck the Moorlands could have won this match. Hykeham A who are second from bottom when they held Lincoln Snooker Academy to a 3-3. Steve Robinson Put Hykeham one with a 59-15 win over Jacob Louca. Jacob played better in his second frame when he defeated Master Cue maker Dave Coutts 49-35. Danie Sherman then put the Academy side 2-1 up when he beat Rob Chapman 47-30. Gary Beardsley played well defeating Jayden Hunt 66-35 which was followed by a 68-25 win for Dan May against Daniel Sherman. Jayden made sure of a share of the spoils for the Academy side when he played very well defeating Dan May 65-6.The remaining fixture was between League Leaders Lincoln Snooker Club D and mid-table Lin-coln Snooker Club F. The leaders got off to a good start with George Barrett defeating Glenn Blewitt 40-15 and Stu Cannings defeated John Griffiths 69-49. Steve Jakes pulled a frame back when he beat Phil Cross 53-31. Stu Cannings returned to the table and won his second frame of the evening when he beat Glynn Weston 48-33. Neil Hall played the two remaining frames for the F team and he won them both, firstly beating Adam Hanson 59-9 and with a good victory against Justin Hunt winning 61-24 to earn a share of the spoils.The Lincoln Snooker Club D team have a 7 point lead at the top of the Lincoln Security Snooker League 1, the Academy side are in second place, but they have Hykeham B and Lincoln Snooker Club F hot on their tails.

Hykeham C have extended their lead at the top of the
George Barrett Snooker League 2 after they recorded their third whitewash of the season. Paul Lonsdale was up first against Ray Reid winning 53-41. Michael Rudd made it 2-0 and his first victory of the night when he defeated Leigh Blades 51-17. Steve Bailey soon made it 3-0 when he defeated Tom Boyle 46-29. Peter Jenson made sure of a Hykeham Victory with a 68-38 win over Ray Reid. Hykeham’s captain Cyril Green made it 5-0 when he just got the better of Leigh Blades 51-43. The final frame saw Michael Rudd play his second frame on the night and he played very well defeating Tom Boyle 72-28. Second placed Moorlands & Railway B fell further behind the league leaders when they were held to a 3-3 draw by Lincoln Snooker Club G. Olli Schmidt started the ball rolling when he won a black ball frame 46-44 against Scott Simpson. Kev Betts levelled the scores when he also won a black ball frame 47-45 against Josh Hackney. Back came Lincoln Snooker Club and they took the next two frames, Georger Lorenti defeated Duncan MacDonald 43-25 and Michele D’Ascoli beat Avril Bettes 59-22. Moorlands avoided defeat when they took the final two frames Andy Campbell and Andy Riggall both beat Michael Stacey 68-37 and 50-31 respectively. Cube & Triangle have only lost one match in the last six, their latest result was a 4-2 home win over Castle Ward B. Gary Chambers put the Cube & Triangle one up when he defeated Matt Strickson 57-29. Castle Ward then proceeded to take the next two frames, Kev Cottam levelled the scores when he beat Jack Belton 61-14 which was followed by a win for Dan Neale who beat Dan Chambers 48-30. Karl Clayton then made it 2-2 with a 66-20 win over Jackson Porter. Dan Chambers made amend for his earlier defeat when he beat Craig Wallace 49-12. Karl Clayton completed the comeback and with a break of 26 he beat Kev Cottam 70-27.

Fraser proctor (Scr.) is having an impressive start to the season when he registered his third win in a row winning 200-162 against Leigh Blades (+100)Rob Hall and Anna Hall both had good wins for the Norton Disney side, Rob (-800) Rob beat Dave Coutts (+30) Rob with breaks of 183, 119, 79 and 43 unfinished won 200-170 and Anna (-20) de-feated Dan May (+60).Castle Ward were the other victors Nick Haywood (-80) with a break of 44 defeated Andy Moon (+60) and Lee Mason (-20) defeated Benny Mackie (-90) 200-124.
