Belvedere Showboats 1-7 Moorlands & Railway C

It sounds like it was a thrilling night in the Spec & Fix Premier Snooker League! The league leaders, Moorlands & Railway C, put in a strong performance against the Belvedere Show-boats. Matt Lee’s near-perfect 89 break is a real highlight — it must have been an exciting mo-ment, especially with the potential for a 147 break. It’s a shame he missed the black, but still, securing all three of his frames is impressive. Lee Applewhite and Jamie Barker also contributed to the team's dominant 6-1 win. As for the Showboats, it was Joe Marum who provided their only point, but the overall result clearly shows a strong performance from the top team. The Belvedere Club, meanwhile, had a solid win against Lincoln Snooker Club C with a 7-0 whitewash. Dale Schofield’s hat-trick of wins, including solid breaks of 64 and 35, put them in a commanding position, while Dave Jobling’s 42 break and Adam Sears making sure of all seven points highlighted their team effort. Next week's match between Belvedere Club and Moorlands & Railway C should be a cracker. Both teams are in good form, so it’ll be interesting to see how they stack up against each other. What do you think — do you see Moorlands & Railway C continuing their dominant run? Or could the Belvedere Club pull off an upset at home next week?

Hykeham A 1-5 Lincoln Snooker Club F
Lincoln Snooker Academy 2-4 Hykeham B
Recorded Breaks:-
The Lincoln Security Snooker League 1 is certainly shaping up to be an exciting competition, with some tight matches and standout performances across the teams. Lincoln Snooker Club D continues to show their dominance at the top, securing a 5-1 win against their E team. With George Barrett, Stu Cannings, and Justin Hunt all grabbing two vic-tories each, it’s clear the team is firing on all cylinders. The only win for the E team came from Jack Chamberlain, who defeated Adam Hanson 49-31, but it wasn’t enough to stop the leaders. Then there's Lincoln Snooker Club F, who travelled to Hykeham A and came away with a strong 5-1 win. They made an early statement, with Glynn Weston, Neil “Noddy” Hall, and Ste-ve Jakes all winning their opening frames to put their team in a commanding position. Dan May managed to secure Hykeham A’s only point with a tense black ball win over John Griffiths, but Weston and Hall both completed their second-frame victories to seal the win. It’s been a solid season for Lincoln F, and they’ll certainly be looking to keep this momentum going. The Lincoln Snooker Academy, full of young talent, suffered their second defeat of the season at the hands of Hykeham B. Tristan Fussey was in great form, winning the first two frames, while Dave Croft and Darren Edwards added to the Academy's struggles. Jayden Hunt did his best to make the scoreline more respectable by securing two wins for the Academy, but it wasn’t enough to stop the Hykeham B team. Despite the loss, the Academy will no doubt be learning and improving with every match, especially with young players like Hunt showing promise. As for Castle Ward A, after three consecutive defeats, they bounced back in style with a 4-2 vic-tory over Moorlands & Railway A. Rob Reeves set the tone with a comfortable win over Trev Porter, and Tim Dunn added another point for Castle Ward with a 61-28 win against Nathan Shasby. Steve Lambert made things interesting for Moorlands & Railway A with a black ball frame win over Adam Petty, but Castle Ward’s consistency shone through, as Reeves and Petty both won their second frames, and Lambert completed his double. This win will be a huge boost for Castle Ward A after their recent tough run. What do you make of the current top three with Lincoln D, F, and the Academy? Are they the teams to watch, or do you think Hykeham A or Castle Ward A could push up the table in the coming weeks?

Division 2
Moorlands & Railway B 4-2 Lincoln Snooker Club H Cube & Triangle 1-5 Hykeham C Lincoln Snooker Club G 4-2 Castle Ward B Recorded Breaks:- 34 Matt Strickson, 28 Robert Babb, 25 Michael Rudd it’s great to see some fresh highlights and standout performances across the league! First off, Avril Betts from Moorlands & Railway B deserves a massive congratulations on win-ning her very first league match! Beating Leigh Blades from Lincoln Snooker Club H 54-31 is a fantastic achievement, and it’s always special to get that first win under your belt. It looks like Kev Betts also had a strong night with his 60-2 victory over Dave Poucher, and the team as a whole looked solid. James Byrne and Phil Barnett added to the tally with good wins, and Andy Campbell ensured the overall victory with his 55-34 win over Ray Reid. It seems like a great all-round performance from Moorlands & Railway B. Now, Hykeham C continues their unstoppable run, remaining 12 games unbeaten! A 5-1 away win against Cube & Triangle with solid performances from Robert Babb (28 break), Michael Rudd (25 break), and others really keeps them looking strong. It’s impressive how consistent they've been, and the fact that Karl Clayton managed to secure Cube & Triangle’s only point with a narrow win shows how competitive the match was. Lincoln Snooker Club G are also making some serious moves, jumping up into third place with a 4-2 victory over Castle Ward. Their unbeaten streak is now at six games, and they seem to be firing on all cylinders. Ollie Schmidt, Josh Hackney, and George Lorenti all contributed to the win, with Hackney especially standing out, winning both his frames, including a thrilling black ball win over Matt Strickson. Strickson, though, did make up for his earlier loss with a stellar 34 break in his 61-9 win over Lorenti, setting the bar for the season's high break so far. What are your thoughts on the current form of these teams? Do you think Hykeham C can maintain their unbeaten run, or could Lincoln Snooker Club G be the ones to challenge them? And how about Moorlands & Railway B—could this be the start of a strong run for them.

Billiards League
Hykeham A 1-1 Hykeham B
Moorlands & Railway B 0-2 Castle Ward A
Norton Disney 2-0 Moorlands & Railway A
Recorded Breaks:
It sounds like the Billiards League is shaping up to be a thrilling race, with so little separating the top teams. The Hykeham sides are really making a statement, and the head-to-head match between Hykeham A and Norton Disney could be a real decider when it gets re-arranged! It's interesting that the first meeting ended in a draw, especially with players like Steve Robinson and Fraser Proctor stepping up to secure those crucial points. Norton Disney’s performance without Rob Hall also shows the strength in their team, especially with Darren Hall coming in for his first match of the season. His win alongside Anna's fantastic performance against Andy Moon suggests they can hold their own even when missing their star player. Castle Ward A is also in the mix, just two points behind the leaders, with solid performances like Dean Manders' win over Tristan Fussey and Lee Mason’s tight win over Leigh Blades. It looks like the league is incredibly competitive. What do you think? Do you have any predictions on how this will all unfold as the matches continue?
